Trade Down I get the idea but that's ridiculous They will def use the 5 or 7. They may trade one if them. The rest of the rounds who knows. I see them trading back in a couple of rounds.

It is increasing your number of first and second day picks. Do not get enamored with all these “top picks” as they are always overrated (as a group) and those in the late first and second day are underrated.(as a group). The Giants need to replenish a roster, and getting 2 studs will NOT improve this team…..and that assumes the people you choose at 5 & 7 ARE studs. History shows us the draft is anything but scientific, and one with more bites at the Apple….especially in the first two days of the draft, has a better chance of greatly improving their team. Let’s face it, more than a few of these highly rated “studs” will turn out to be duds.

GM Joe Schoen also stated:
Playing in the Northeast, QB Size is paramount (don't tell PFF this, PFF thinks QB Size doesn't matter in the NFL, lol - Draft Mayfield #1 overall!!)
That means Strong (6'4,226) makes by far the most sense. Big QB with a big, accurate arm who stretches the defense downfield and opens up underneath windows, and can consistenly throw a frozen rope.
