How about those Knicks!?!? Man that felt good.
Hopefully the Heat win in 7 giving us some time to rest up.

These Knicks are a fun team. Brunson reminds me of Dick Barnett.

That series reminded me of 2 years ago when we lost to the Hawks. We simply weren’t as good as them. The Cavs simply weren’t as good as the Knicks. The glass was the difference in the series. 48-30 tonight, Mitch with 18 and 11 of those were offensive. Hopefully Heat and Bucks goes 7 and gives Randle some time to heal.

Terrible display of basketball today from the Knicks. The last five minutes was some of the worst basketball I've seen in a long time.
Butler goes down with an ankle and can hardly move and we never attack him once. RJ turns it over three times in a row and he's apparently incapable of hitting two free throws. We couldn't hit a three point shot to save our lives but continued to jack them up We dominated the paint in the first half....what happened? Thibs just stood there with his thumb up his ass and watched us go on a 5 minute scoring drought in the 4th quarter.
The hell did I just watch?

Awful.
Shooting was just terrible. Brick after brick from outside.

Damn, looking bad again.
Brunson has not been the same this series. Missing wide open shots. Not doing what he did vs Cleveland.
Knicks suck at free throws. Killing them.
Why does Thibs hate Obi so much?
They lose this one its over.
EDIT:
Knicks held on. Brunson balled out in the 2nd half. Well done.
RJ had a big game too, along with Randle.
Those 3 need to carry this team if they want to advance.

We have seen how long it takes Randle to come back. I doubt Butler will be 100% Saturday but I expect him to go.

How are the Knicks not playing tonight? How are games 2 and 3 for the Celtics/76ers played between games 2 and 3 for the Knicks/Heat?
What kind of asininity is this?
I was expecting game 3 tonight...

Better offense from the Knicks. But when we miss there is zero chance at offensive rebounds. 4 White Jerseys every time under the basket.

Terrible defense. How many times are we going to fall for a pump fake?
Randle walking up and down the court and only exerting effort on offense is getting old. He completely disrupts the rhythm of the offense just to force his shot. He's not a long term soution if we want to become legit championship contenders.
This off-season we need players who can shoot a jump shot. We currently have nobody who can hit a 3-pointer consistently, but everyone consistently shoots 3-pointers.

The worst part of tonight is a team with a legitimate chance at the ECF clearly didn’t want it as bad as their opponent. Disappointing.

The worst part of tonight is a team with a legitimate chance at the ECF clearly didn’t want it as bad as their opponent. Disappointing. Agreed. Randle was walking, legitimately walking, up and down the court all night. I don't know if he won a single 50/50 ball. The lack of effort was putrid. I've never been so disappointed in a "super star" on a team I root for. He has to go. Thibs refuses to call a timely timeout or make an adjustment. What does he do besides restrict the minutes of young players? I don't know who might be available, but if he's the HC next season there's no reason to expect anything different. I can go on and on, but last night was a good reminder as to why I don't watch much NBA. There's zero accountability, refs play too big of a role in every game, and every player inexplicably thinks they can shoot a 3-pointer. The product is nearly unwatchable at this point.

Good job surviving another game. If they can pull one out in Miami anything is possible. It will be tough.

It's never easy!! Gotta love what Brunson has brought to the table as a Knick. He may not be the ultra athletic, ultra dribbles type PG, but the dude is getting it done and he's getting it done on a bum ankle. He's a player we can build around long term.
Despite the points, Randle's play still irks me. Last night may have been his best game of the 2023 playoffs, but there were still plays where his obvious lack of hustle led to a big play for Miami. I liked the fact he wasn't jacking up 3's, and he was getting to the line, but he needs to keep the motor running all game.
RJ had a solid game. He needs to continue to drive the ball. Good things seem to happen for RJ when he's moving forward. There are times when he doesn't look comfortable with the ball in his hands, and there are times when he looks slow or like he's thinking too much, but he had a good game all around. His confidence seems to grow with every game, and a good game in Miami could put it over the top.
Onto game 6. Let's cut down on the turnovers, let's get some production from the bench, let's continue to push the ball and get to the line, and let's bring it back to MSG for game 7.

I've seen enough.
Last year I hated Randle.
This year I still do.
He is lazy. He is a ball hog.
Can't win with him.
Hopefully they trade him

I have no sympathy for the Knicks losing. What I will say is that they are a likable team. Brunson is a dog. I know that everyone is piling on Randle, but he was the first out of this new group of players who went there and took Dolan's money. The fan treatment of him after their elimination IMO is going to cost them chances of getting good free agents. Those players see the fans burning his jersey and destroying ads related to him. Old school Knicks fans are cool with me. The new breed of your fans are an absolute embarrassment.

So, looking back at the Big 3 in 2019, Zion Williamson, Ja Morant, and RJ Barrett, and the lofty expectations of it (Compared to LeBron, Melo and Wade at some points), it really does look like a dud of a class.
Zion was the superstar, but blew up like a tick, and cant stay healthy the last 2 years. Ja Morant has gone postal and cant stay away from guns apparently after a 2nd gun incident. And RJ, well, he did not take the next step I was hoping. Good piece, but thats it.
All 3 are still young, but it didnt live up to the hype so far.
Knicks needed RJ to be a baller for them to be a contender.

Knicks traded Obi Toppin for 2 2nd round picks? Wow, the Knicks suck Just gave him away. The knock on Obi around the league is he simply can’t create his own shot. He’s a high flyer, lob threat and occasional 3 point threat. But I still think it’s a shit deal.
