He simply is. Just another 46, 9 and 11 last night. Go ahead and produce one night of overall production like that in Jordan's entire career, I'll wait. Meanwhile this is the standard for James. Also look around him and ask who was better: Korver or B.J. Armstrong and Kerr? Love(who played 4 mins last night) or Pippen? George Hill or Ron Harper? Tristan Thompson or Horace Grant? LBJ is the GOAT and let me go a step further..... It's actually not close. There, I said it.

I think LeBron is the best all around player ever.

It becomes very subjective when making comparisons of two great players. I lean to MJ... but, MJ had a much better supporting cast and he did not have to dominate and carry the whole team for Chicago to win. The Cavs are zero without Lebron.

Even with a great performance from LeBron the Cavs could not overcome JR's bonehead mistake at the end of regulation and the horrible job by the refs. I thought the charge/block between Durant and LeBron could have gone either way but the officiating was not consistent for both teams. Too many fouls that were called when the play was clearly a clean strip and vice versa. They started out by letting them play with a lot of contact then started their B.S. later in the game. All I ask is consistency from these @sshat refs...sigh

Not just the BS charge thing, the flagrant 2 on Thompson was absurd. Zero consistency.

I have a hard time considering LeBron the greatest when he's following a path that Jordan paved. Plus, Jordan pulled off two three-peats with the same team after stepping away for a year. Plus, Jordan never lost an NBA Final. LeBron will go down as one of the greatest, but he's not the greatest.

Lebron James is the smartest player in the league and doesnt get the credit for it. The guy understands basketball and knows what he has to do to elevate his team. The frustration was written all over his face during the finals. Now Lebron decides to move to the Lakers and the media is jumping all over his decision like it was just a business move. What people fail to realize is that the Lakers last year put some extreme pressure on the Rockets and the Golden State Warriors. No they did not win but they sure did push the teams until the end of the game. The Lakers speed and athleticism from these young guns is off the charts. Now you have just added the best player in the game to the mix. Lebron has been very quiet about the lack of media acknowledgement on how capable the Lakers are. He did not go to LA for the glitz and glamour. I guarantee Lebron was thinking Championship when he made his decision. He analyzed everything about the team he was going to play for. Magic said himself, he was surprised how Lebron knew every player on the team and broke them down individually to Magic. People are going to be shocked how competitive the Lakers are going to be with the insertion of Lebron. The Golden State Warriors got slower when they let go of Javell and signed Boogie. The Rockets let go of 2 of their top defenders and signed a slow and old Carmelo. Im sure Lebron is licking his chops after those moves. Only time will tell.

Lebron is an amazing player, but if you gave me the choice to start off with a rookie Lebron or a rookie Jordan, Ill take Jordan all day long. They are 2 different types of players. Lebron is more a physical beast being much bigger while Jordan is a pure shooting, lane driving, dunk magician who you want taking the last shot. Everyone says Lebron doesnt have the cast around him to win championships.... GUess what? He PICKED that team himself. He gets coaches fired because he wants to coach. HE is the manager. When he was in Miami he had a great supporting cast and only went 2-2 in the championship, one time losing to a team that had Dirk and, well thats it almost. Go look up the names Jordan had to go against in his day. HOFers who actually played defense. Lebron has had a cake walk in the East every year. IF he was in the West, he wouldnt be sniffing the finals behind the Warriors and Spurs and Rockets. He wont be back there again now that he is in the West IMO.
James is obviously a special player, one of the greatest Ive seen, but not better than Jordan.

And GS will win it again in 2019 whether or not Boston is healthy or not. As great a player Kyrie is, he is a cancer. He doesnt want others to have the spotlight which is why he left Lebron. I think Boston is better off trading him for pieces to build around Tatum Brown and Hayward.

I am a Kareem Abdul Jabaar guy. I think he was the greatest ever. He dominated the NCAA and the NBA. He played during the greatest defenses of all time. Yes he was a different type of player. But the guy had a tremendous defensive impact and led the NBA in scoring. My next on the list is MJ. That guy was an assassin, he would rip your heart out. His defense was spectacular. He morphed into an outstanding 3 point shooter. He was great and maybe the greatest. Lebron will be third but may move up as his career moves on.

He was late to practices in Boston. He is frustrated Boston now has a team that can do damage without him and trade speculation was going around again like he doesnt want to be there. He was rumored to be involved in trade talks for Leonard and to the Knicks already and hasnt even played 1 full season in Boston. Great player, but a head case.... Not to mention he really thinks the earth is flat.
