take this for what its worth: Daboll announced Wednesday that starting outside cornerback Aaron Robinson will miss Sunday's game after having his appendix removed. Robinson received with the third-highest overall PFF grade on the Giants defense in Week 1. His 73.4 mark also ranked 11th among all cornerbacks, while his 72.4 coverage grade ranked 15th. The second-year corner finished with a 72.9 passer rating when targeted and registered a pass breakup. The head coach said there will be competition throughout the week for Robinson's spot opposite Adoree' Jackson in the starting lineup.

That stinks. Hopefully he recovers quickly. It'll be interesting to see who they plug into that spot and how wink will gameplan around it.
I imagine Jackson will be tasked with shadowing Moore, and they'll give help to whoever is covering Robbie Anderson. Anderson isn't a great player but he can break some big plays downfield.

Hell no my son had his appendix removed was at work the next day laboring, they just suck that thing out, with a tiny incision. Not a big surgery any more He will miss more than one game. 2-3 sounds about right. My son had it and he was back at work 2 days later doing heavy labor. I thought 2 weeks would do the trick, the doctor who did the work said he could go back the next day.

But don’t count on him being in uniform next Monday night. It isn’t happening. Depending on the nature of the surgery, (whether his appendix burst or not), he might not even be back the week after vs Chicago. .

My son said the same thing he was working but it was not comfortable for a couple weeks and he had the small incision where they sucked it out like a vacuum, called him he said the only reason he worked so soon the doctor said he could and would n't give him the pass for a couple days on his paper work.

It's possible that the Chiefs were being purposefully overly cautious with him though.

abdominal muscles are cut through ti get to the appendix. Even though the cuts are in the same line or grain with the muscle it still needs to heal fully. if yi are a just a regular guy then I can see a week but a pro athlete needs more time

I found it strange they only stated he will miss this week and didn't put a time schedule for a return.. Maybe it is something simple these days..

One in the belly button and two below it. And you’re told not to lift over 10 pounds for 4 weeks minimum. I get that he’s a professional athlete but he’s a football player, not a race car driver. If he comes back too soon he can rip open where the surgery was done and cause a hernia. He’s out 2-3 games minimum.

I talked to him he was working but it wasn't comfortable for a couple weeks probably if he waited he would have been fine.

I'm getting more pissed off at the doctor who did my sons wouldn't sign off on him taking couple days and was a dick about it. said he should avoid lifting 40 pounds the following day, but all work in 2 days he plants large trees and goes what I used to do stone and block.

That’s crazy. Seriously. He could mess himself up and not heal properly and always be compromised afterwards.

Anderson was their big receiver last week Yup. He went most of the game catching little dinks and dunks. Then broke a 75 yarder. He can burn you on that kind of play.
