That’s classic right there. But as usual, unfortunately he’s right, can’t argue with a thing he’s said. We’ve won 4 times since 2013 and one of those was a gimme when they rested their starters. Cooper Rush played pretty good against Cincy but almost threw 5 INT’s that would have cost them the game. If we want to beat them, not having their starting QB may be our best chance this year (although Dak looked like ass in his first game). *obvious Thibs, Azeez and Leo would be huge but that’s not happening this game
It's the worrying that I love so much. That sinking feeling we all get on a Monday after going 2-0 when we picture ourselves cast one week into the future getting absolutely humiliated on national TV with Joe Buck and Troy Aikman relishing every moment of it.

two backs blocking....that means the D is already in the backfield, add in the 5 OL and the QB and that leave 3 guys out to receive a pass. Unless Jones runs out of that aliment. They wont be scoring many points with that line up if its used too often. The play calling and player execution have to be better for across the board and And? And? And......? Don't die on me, not just yet! I am hanging in there Bro!!!!

Just saying.. def one thing that surprised me with him. Never under stood why he couldn't at least be pretty good at that. I mean RBs live with contact all the time

Its a big one. Lets see how tonights game (Tenn) goes but I suspect we will be going against the 3rd top ten defensive ranked team we have faced in the Cowboys in as many games. Not too shabby picking up 2 wins already. Make no mistake, the Cowboys still have a stingy defense. Its early, but I think our team is going to come out swinging in this one. Lets all hope for the best. TEN looked like trash vs Bills... and Vikes looked almost as bad vs Eagles. If the Cowboys shut down our run game to make our QB beat them, as they surely plan to, DJ will join the two mediocrities that took snaps last night. I could be wrong, but I wouldn't bet on it.

This game is all about the Giants Oline. Basically yes. Our D could get roasted but the real goal here is can we prevent their D line from taking over the game? We only have two regular season examples of our o line play. If it’s the Carolina version, we’ll be 2-1. Daboll places pressure on the O-line to defend as he refuses the have 2-backs in the backfield that would provide Jones with a second level of protection. In fact, at time has an empty backfield. Playing empty or 1 backs are a prescription for disaster that manifests itself in sucks and interceptions. Posters are missing the boat by complaining about the Giants weak pass protectors on the O-line. It's the primary reason the offense is not scoring more points, and why the Giants have scored less points thru two games than they did last season. The Giants only scored 20-points in their first game playing Dallas last season. Let's see how many points the Giants score on Monday night. Giants could beat Dallas if Daboll would change his philosophy and provided Jones with some additional protection. He also needs to try some new offensive lineman who can pass protect. Bill Walsh often used two backs and was able to win many Supers Bowls doing so. Believe the Giants did as well.

See how Daboll and company handle the prime time. Has nothing to do with prime time. It's Daboll recognizing why the offense is not working and his correcting it.

Through dif HCs, GMs etc. Daboll knows his football. I am not worried about that. He and his staff are figuring out what will work and what wont. Who is progressing with their game and who isnt.

Giants fans should past the Giants sucking in the past. Daboll hasn't figured out the Giants lack of scoring in the first half nor in any of his interviews does he give any indication that the coaching staff has been doing anything wrong. He implies it's just the players that need to learn his offensive system better. As I pointed out in a previous post that's not the problem. The Giants don't have the quality of interior lineman that Buffalo and KC had. So adjustments have to be made. Daboll's adjustment is throwing 1-yard passes. As we've seen that doesn't cut it.

So all we gotta do is trans-substantiate ~3 o-lineman and we're good? Or put a couple of RBs or FBs in the backfield and maybe a TE on the line for good measure and hope they block the rush? Well slap my face... whocuddanode? But hey, it may be worth a shot

I believe that there will be a Manning broadcast next week, so at least we can listen to our own homer.

I blocked him but every now and then I look to see what kind of ridiculousness you guys are responding to and I’m never disappointed.

Prime time or not, the Giants have straight up sucked for a decade no matter what time of day it is, I think it’s irrelevant.

You must have stopped watching last year once Jones went down. That was by far the greatest suckage in NFL history.. TB was even better when they entered the league..

As we've seen that doesn't cut it. - They have sucked and we will not get past it until they have a season where they dont suck. This season is starting off better. - You dont listen to the pressers at all. Daboll is ALWAYS saying its process and WE ALL HAVE TO DO BETTER. He includes his staff and him self all the time. In every presser I have listen to and I listen to all of them. - What you point out is an armchair view of what you think the issue is. Like the rest if us. Sometimes you may be right and most times we are not. - Daboll has said time and again its learning process for he and the coaches to figure out what is going to work best for the team with a given opponent. He also admitted he wont always get right. Pass routes are short for a reason. Have you also noticed the big open recovers' plays Jones is missing because he is even looking? Thats not on Daboll, the OL or anyone else. -They have made adjustments in the two games which helped them win. Maybe you missed that.

No back-tracking. I said that the Giants have quick receivers and they get open. That's very true. But they can't catch the ball on crossing routes across the field as the defensive lineman is in the backfield when they finally get open. To late to throw the ball. Surprised that both Vinnie and Realtension22 don't see that. Maybe I shouldn't be surprised.
I thought the Giants would do well this season because of Daboll's preparation and offensive schemes. But Daboll's lack of providing more pass protection for Jones when such is clearly obvious is concerning.
Plays that call for one yard passes and not attacking the end zone in the first half is also not good.
Not always clear what Jones is told to look for as being his first read. If told the wrong thing, and that's combined with a strong pass rush, than his options are limited. But viewing the replay, we see a guy open, a player that it's too late for him to see.
Jones completing 70.9 percent of of all his passes (3rd highest completion rate in the NFL) while not getting good protection tells me he's not the problem. The main problem is getting more players in front of him so he has more time to throw the ball.
But some less insightful fans here would rather just harp on Jones and other players as not being good.

I’m sure there’s people I work with that use it and more power to them, but like your wife, it’s not worth me risking my job and retirement for. I used to hook up my wifes (gf at the time) bosses with weed when I was in college and they were in their 50’s. My dad was a white collar guy who smoked occasionally in the 60’s, I even had the pleasure of smoking with him once (that was a trip) but that was one of the only times he’s done it over the past 2 decades. Smoked with some of my friends parents who were lawyers, doctors, you name it. Almost had the chance to smoke with Willie Nelson, just missed it, that would have been awesome. Most of my friends still use edibles or smoke when we hang out, doesn’t bother me at all other than the jealousy factor. I would definitely drink less if I could still use, sucks man.

It will be one outrageous excuse or claim after another. You can have at him, I’m not wasting my time, it’s actually one of the more mature online decisions I’ve made this year, lol.

Now it's legal in Jersey I'm more open about it. I've had some cool discussions with my son while passing the pipe these past few years.. I've smoked with plenty of HoF bowlers who you wouldn't think do it. One does it before bowling which even surprised me.
