Can't stand Crowder as an inside linebacker. Calitro is so much better against the run. Hardly played. Not having both Robinsons, Toney, and L.Williams really hurt the Giants tonight. Slayton should have played tonight. Wish the Giants kept Bachman. To be fair Crowder is playing at peak performance in regards to what he brings to the table. A civic can't pull a fuel tank, but it can take a corner đ. I will blame the GM before blaming Tae. Tae is nice situational piece they need find some full time ILBs. I agree this as a game where eMartinez could have helped a ton and we got 0 cap for releasing him.

You have to look at the talent on this team and the talent of the other team and you'll see how well he actually played. The o line was an accessory to murder tonight and he still had us in the game until the end. some will still rave about his "time to throw" Well duh... He escapes and earns another 3 seconds on his own every other play.

Watching that replay.... how does the turf cause that injury? He was running in a straight line uncontested. Looks like his knee just gave out. stress thru 4 quarters on a bad leg can take a toll. For Shep it's never been about his effort. Always remember that. Shep is a bad ass and loyal one at that wish him nothing but the best hope he retires and becomes part of the Giants family.

Thought he felt pressure good tonight and through the ball off platform really pretty good considering who has to throw to i'm getting confirmation that our WRs were not open a player like Rashad Batemen would have been a nice addition. Next year my friend.

I know half this board absolves him of any wrongdoing and will blame every one from the locker room cleaning service to the paperboy for his poor production. But the fact of the matter is he missed plays tonight under no duress. Idk. I saw a QB under duress ever snap make the plays that were there for him. With this line and WR I don't think Rogers is doing much more tonight.

I donât mean to be harsh. But who cares? Bye shep. I care. The dude has been one of the only, very few, bright spots for this team the past few years. Great teammate, tough dude, great guy. I didnât mean to be harsh, but I was. My mistake.

I saw a QB under duress ever snap You see what you want to see. I guess what I wanted to see was the same as the rest of this board, Giants coaches, Giants players, and media. I'm far from a Jones advocate and do not think he's our future, but he played well considering everything working against him yesterday.

You made an absolute claim of Jones was under duress âeveryâ snap. If youâre standing behind that claim and not admitting that itâs hyperbole then there is no need to further discuss this with you. Another erroneous claim you made is predicated upon âthe rest of the board.â No the entire rest of the board doesnât align with you either. Ah I see. So you want to win the argument on the semantics of "every play". But you know you've lose when your grand standing revolves around the others hyperbole. What have you proven exactly? Jones was under pressure all game. His WRs didn't help either. This is straight from the coaches and players mouths and was seen by anyone who's eyes process the visible light spectrum. If you missed this, you just hate Jones to the point youre making up your own reality. I don't even like Jones, but he played well.

To think we could have drafted Parsons. Instead we got Toney. Toney, Neal, and Bellinger. Book is still being written on Neal, but god does he look awful right now. I am one of those who thinks Toney is completely useless. He's a gadget player, doesn't seem dedicated, and is injured all the time. He was such a waste. Bellinger might be the best of them all, and that's not saying much.

The fact is you only listed a small fraction of the trade return to try and make a point. Itâs not a good look for you. And itâs clear you hate Neal and want to see him fail. Thatâs how it works, right? Clear I hate Neal? Are you just making things up now? He was my top draft choice and I was celebrating him. Not going to bother to pull old posts, but you have no idea what you are talking about. And even listing the whole trade as you did, do you think Bellinger, Neal, and Toney are worth Parsons? Just adding 2 more names to the pile doesn't make the loss of drafting Parsons any better, considering the game Neal just had while Toney sat on the bench for the 15th game of his 2 year career.

If you missed this, you just hate Jones to the point youre making up your own reality. I don't even like Jones, but he played well. Iâm not trying to win an argument. Calm down. When you make an absolute claim then back it up by making the same absolute claim, itâs my assumption you truly believe that. If you donât believe that and are just speaking in hyperbole, it makes it futile to have a rational discussion with you. Segue âYou just hate Jones to the point youâre just making up your own reality.â And there it is. The battle cry of the meek. If you objectively criticize a player âyou hate them.â Iâll leave this low level engagement with this note: Did you see Jones miss easy open throws for critical first downs under no duress? No? Ok, you just hate every other Giants player and youâre making up your own reality. You engaged this discussion, not with why you thought Jones was bad, but with a burden of proof proclamation, as if I said "God exists" or some deep philosophical claim that needed extraordinary evidence for an "absolute claim" (your words). The conversation became "low level" when you went after the hyperbole of my post, rather than made any claim why Jones didn't play well, which I'm still waiting for. You're clearly keen to ignore the reality that Jones was under immense pressure all night. It can either be you are disconnected from reality or you hate Jones. I can't find a 3rd option for your denialism. If you want to skirt the issue as ignoring the "battle cry of the meek" then we don't have anywhere else to go I guess. I'm sure Jones did miss a few throws, as all QBs do. But not all QBs deal with the kind of pressure Jones was under the entire night, and the stats (reality) backs that up.

Clear I hate Neal? Are you just making things up now? Okay. Even the most obvious tokens are oblivious to you. Have a neato day! I wasn't linking this post back to our Jones discussion. I missed it. Oh well. Question stills stands. Does Toney, Neal, and Bellinger make up for the Parsons loss for you? You raised the point I didn't mention the other 2 in the trade. What was the point you were trying to make? Or is your goal just to reassess all of my posts with no real point to make?

To think we could have drafted Parsons. Instead we got Toney. Toney, Neal, and Bellinger. And Arron Robinson.. I think Neal still has the ceiling of am above average RT ..growing pains Bellinger already looks like at the very least a solid NFL starting 2 way TE with a lot of upside Robinson had a good first game as a starter...sucks his appendix happened.. Potentially 3 above average football players at 3 different positions Even without Toney I take that every day

Here are some highlights from the game. DJ and SQB running abilities. By the way, that last throw by DJ was really ill advised, but what a beautiful throw.

Potentially 3 above average football players at 3 different positions Even without Toney I take that every day I knew I was leaving out another piece to the trade. I was adamant about selecting Slater (RIP his season unfortunately) or Parsons. When Gettleman made the trade I was like, "okay, let's see how this plays out." Then he selected Toney and I was pissed with that selection but was always posting on these forums, "we have to wait to see how next year's draft pans out before we can even start to analyze the trade." And here we are. I agree with Neal. Dude is taking some lumps right now. But he's also faced Dupree and Parsons/Lawrence within the first three weeks of his career. If Neal turns out to be a very serviceable RT then we scored with that pick. Bellinger looks the role of a very reliable blocking/receiving TE. Something we've craved for years. Score with that pick too. Robinson, still TBD and yes the appendix thing sucks and has nothing to do with "injury prone" etc. I hate Gettleman more than anyone on this forum. I will challenge anyone to that claim. But so far this trade looks to be very good for our rebuild and future. Sucks that Toney looks to be a disaster, but oh well. Iâm your huckleberry.. Iâll take that Pepsi challenge with Gettleman. I wanted him fired when he got off the plane.
