Another chance for the NYGs to go 1-0 for the week.
They need another clean and efficient game.

Belton with a clavicle? Is that the same injury as earlier this year?

This is looking like another tough match up for the Giants Lions play hard and have a top 10 offense I believe, That said they have a bottom 3 defense and the Giants need to take advantage. our weakness WR injuries on the OL match up with their weakness defense as a whole. Think we will need 24 for from the offense to get this one think we will get it. GO GIANTS!!!

Lions play tough, they may not win a lot, but do not go down easy, so I don't see us looking past them. We do match up pretty well with them, though, so as usual, I'm taking the Giants all day!!!

I think the Neal / Hutchinson matchup would have been good especially Neal was really coming around, I don't like the back up going against him. They will not waste Hutch over Thomas but for maybe a few snaps.

Lions are a rough team and after seeing some game highlights like to body slam on D. Have to keep Hutchinson away from DJ. Giants have the edge overall but as all NYG games are they have to play a clean game to win

Supposed to be cold and windy. Hope it doesn't play a large role.

Lions D is ranked 32nd, ours is #9, defense will allow yds between the 20s but hold them to 20 as we win 28-20

The New York Giants intend to activate guard Shane Lemieux from injured reserve prior to Saturday’s 4:00 p.m. ET deadline. He is also expected to start in place of rookie Joshua Ezeudu, who is dealing with a neck injury.

Gates can play any OL position I don't know if he would be our best bet vs Hutch. But I was afraid if we used Neal Sunday he might not be able to go on a short week vs Dallas. I haven't heard if he's expected to play or not. All I heard he was limited at practice. Sure would be great if he could go and come back vs Dallas. Otherwise I would vote to hold him out until we play Dallas.

Supposed to be cold and windy. Hope it doesn't play a large role. That could be good for us as our running game could dominate and it will harm their passing attack.

That thinking for many cold weather team won many games over the years. Detroit has a fairly good running game as well. I just dont want a messed up game where the weather makes it anyone's fluke game.

Never an easy game do the Giants play
But at home, the D steps up once again
SB & DJ running, combined with with DJ passing efficiently makes the difference and the Giants get the Win!

They have a strong line and 2 solid backs. 3 of Detroit's starters have a NY Giants connection.

This is gonna have an old school football feel if it's cold and windy between 2 proper running teams. Works out in our favor since our Defense is significantly better than theirs. I'm gonna say 24-17 with us coming out on top

He is doubtful sounds like a no go. Thanks Blue Dog. Hutch has 5.5 sacks. 3 of which came in one game. He is a player to watch for sure but he isn't a game wrecker yet.
