declaring for NFL Draft and will not be playing Iowa in the Music City Bowl... I think if they go QB he is our guy . Can probably move up from the middle of the 1st round into the top 10 to get him if Joe wants

I’m not doing much research at this point, but I did watch a little UK and a little UF to get a quick glimpse of their highly touted QB’s. Wasn’t impressed with either, really.
It may be due to the lack of research but I don’t feel any QB is worth a top 10 pick.

He needs a lot of work but has the same flaws with processing, reading defenses and handling the blitz .

If Stroud can somehow fall out of the top five that would be excellent as he is my guy but we won't be in range

Interesting QB situation coming up.
Jimmy G. and now Derek Carr should be available. There are a few teams without high picks that need a QB and a few teams with high picks that don't.
Houston and Indy should draft QB's and Seattle (Denver's pick) and Chicago won't. So teams like Washington and the Jets should be in the Carr/Jimmy G. sweepstakes. I think Jimmy G. is a great fit in NY with the Jets with Mike White as a back up. Could Carr go to Washington?
So we have Young/Stroud/Levis near the top and then Jimmy G./Carr in the middle as FA's.
And don't forget that Mayfield is there after playing well with the Rams (although I think he should stay in LA).
It'll be interesting. I doubt we pick a QB in RD 1. We need too much at other positions to screw around at QB high in the draft.
Ramble over. (for now)

(for now) Darnold is playing well for Carolina these last few weeks, and don't underestimate the mania that is Minschew...There are a lot of options going into the offseason. With a strong last however many games we play, DJ could end up being the top candidate.

Don’t know much about the college QB’s.

My gut tells me the front office would have no problem bringing in a new QB. They play the NFC West and AFC East next year. Good chance they take a step back no matter what they do. If one of these QB's falls into the 20 range, I could see them moving on from Jones. It is a huge advantage cap wise to have a QB on a rookie deal. You only owe him less than 3 million a year if you pick him at 20. It will depend on how much guaranteed money Jones wants. I'm sure they would be fine doing 5 years 140 million with half guaranteed. Some kind of deal where they can move on after 2 seasons if they want.

Struggling in the season (not a controlled environment when a QB need his wits) not a good sign.

Agree with that, I remember Zach Wilson rising because he did a lot of fun and impressive looking stuff in a controlled environment. Regarding Levis, I haven't really watched him enough to have an opinion on him. I heard he is very impressive physically but has had some erratic play at times. I can see Levis and Anthony Richardson will get some Josh Allen comparisons...I've watched a little bit of Richardson and he's looked lost sometimes but like Cam Newton/Justin Fields at others. ...I have a hard time seeing Giants drafting a developmental QB early in the draft after a winning or playoff season.

And before people laugh it off as pre draft rumors, the same thing happened to Daniel Jones and his stock days before the draft. The same thing happened to Trey Lance. The same thing happened to Baker Mayfield.
Sometimes these are true.
Hard to imagine, but man that would be a wild twist.

He could, this is one of the hardest to predict drafts in awhile. Think it’s due to there not being many blue chip prospects
