Wow, our defender on ST just jogged past the punt receiver who fumbled. Shouldn't he have stood over him to take advantage of just such a possibility?

Eagles muff punt and no one around to contest recovery. SMH The one that was just runs past him... lol. Really?

Eagle muffs punt- lazy Giants not even ready to attempt to recover it. Giving up before it's over is not cool.

If Latimer had stayed to see the catch made instead of jogging past he might have had a chance at recovering that.

The pocket collapses on Eli all at once, no where to go. He'd have to have ninja like skillz. That one was bad. Barkley got blown up.

I'd rather watch a young kid play and learn and lose vs watching Eli's shi- show week in week out

Enough is enough. Both Shurmur and especially upper managment needs to address why there is ZERO accountability at QB

It would take a turnover ir two, but we could still win this game.

Barkley is worthy of a #2 pick, but not our #2 pick.
Can you imagine him on a good offense?

The problem is, people who are still defending Eli are asking for the perfect offense. WRs? Check. TE? check. RB? check. Want to fix the OL too? Then let's back up a second. If you want to make the OL super awesome, you have to make concessions. There only so much money to go around. Improve the OL, then people are going to start complaining about how he doesn't have OBJ. And we're lucky. Shep, Engram, Barkley are all on rookie contracts. We're NOT going to be able to pay all of them. And that's why Eli is getting lit. He's essentially a backup QB now - needing everything to fall in place for him. And that's just not realistic. Not even close. No QB has an offense that has 0 holes. We have arguably the best skill position players in the game. And this offense performance is what we get? This is all the QB can do? At some point, people have to sit back and realize that maybe, just maybe, Eli was part of the problem all along. He's the constant in a lot of this. starting TEs out check OLine still sucks check
again, placing this at the feet of Eli only is simply stupid
get some other QB in there to get killed, because that's what will happen
It's a team game. It's not just Eli. It never is just one person. But he's a huge part of the problem. When you watch another game, and the QB drops back to pass and there's pressure. Think to yourself, does Eli get sacked in that situation? Does Eli panic and curl onto the ground? QBs these days find ways to get out when things break down. Eli can't. Quite frankly, it's how I expect backups to play when the starting QB gets hurt. Things need to go perfect in order for them to do well.

Yet we're playing meaningless football in early October. And you think a QB would have made the difference in this team without a Barkley? The Jets had a much better team than us, and they got the QB, let’s see how they do with a rookie QB, then we can assume we would have lost a few more games then them. There is no way we were going to be competing for the playoffs this year, with or without a new QB. You can argue that Darnold has looked better than Eli this year also his teammates are excited to have him as their QB. You are simply fooling yourself if you think that ELI’s teammates are “jacked” when he comes out to the field. The Jets have hope can you say the same when you look at this offense lead by Eli?
