Why is Penix still in the game? The damn game is over, Michigan is teeing off on him and he's hurt. Get him out Yeah, at this point the game is done. He has an NFL career to think about.

MI dominated tonight. As I predicted a few months ago they are the best college team in 2023(4). The only team that could have beaten them did not participate in the playoffs. They won because of their lines. The OL was stellar and the D contained Penix

Neither QBs played well tonight. MPJ was sub-par and he was also injured (again). If he gets drafted he better go to a team that has a stout OL. That excludes us tho'. lol. The good news is that whittle down the viable QB choices next April

Penix looked like ass and I’m really reconsidering him being my favorite QB or if I even want him to be a Giant. I know it was one game but he’ll be going up against much better competition than MI and he’ll be getting hit much harder. I may have to look at the other QB’s a bit more.

He did poorly against near NFL talent, so project that to the next level. Plus he is injured and not too mobile so to me that doesn't spell first round pick

I really hate lefty QBs visually. He was great vs Texas but had time. Tonight he looked rushed and panicky. The left throw is ugly when not playing well. Didn't look the part tonight that's for sure. Bummer. Plus his injuries. He might get knocked out of the 1st round completely now.

I can't disagree, he definitely looked rattled from the start, and the injury history has always been a concern with him.

Well listening to Greg Jennings and Jacoby on Carlton talking about Penix and his game last night as to the opposite of what he has been doing all year long as to stepping up in the pocket and throwing the ball over all over the field accurate it was like last night he was afraid to step up in the pocket and throw the ball with accuracy and they said that is very alarming for somebody you want to invest in as a starting quarterback in the nfl. So I don't know I think he's going to slip and you know maybe in the second round if he slips and we don't take a quarterback in the first then maybe you know or maybe the third round you know that would want him so it would be very interesting how teams are going to evaluate them based on last night

Hell, I like Bo Nix he doesn't have the rocket arm as Penix but he is very mobile, move great in the pocket and is very accurate in the short to medium range throws

Doesn’t make it right yet I’m not sure they were a threat to win it. W/o the major injury I’d say the committee puts them in. Bama found a way vs GA yet certainly didn’t dominate their schedule the way GA did. Best team may have won yet I’m not sure they faced the best opponent.

You do realize FSU didnt have 16 of their 22 starters for that game, right? Including all their top stars, and their 3rd string QB got notified he was playing in it about week before.

What was it exactly? yeah well then I can see how that would affect the outcome but also Keyshawn and Skip made a good argument against Sherman's that FSU should've been in but after losing their qb early in the season and even if they might have deserved to be in kinda, the committee was not going to risk the embarrasment after what happened last year and they were talking about not having the qb, not the other 20 something starters though..... But Key also said how FSU looked in some games prior or something as to the decision against them

He still needs to develop his field vision and work on his accuracy. He is a good QB and will be a high draft pick in 2025

Under Nick Saban, Alabama had more players drafted in the first-round (44) than it had losses (29).

Saban was one of the best salesmen ever convincing 4 and 5 star recruits a chance at the NFL if they followed him to ALambama. The recruiting machine probably ran it self after the 3rd championship. Winning attracts talents and demands commitment.

The reason Alambama got more was Saban. Bama still had the best recruited class in 2023.
