Things on the Super Bowl I came away Kielce is a diva Mahomes is the better QB, and the better QB with the live arm and ability to run for first downs beats a system QB most times. This game was so good due to the coaching levels on both teams….the adjustments and playcalling on both sides of the ball were similar to two chess grand masters going at it. And because of that, we needed more than Tony Romo singing….this game should have been x and o’d by somebody other then Romo…it was an absolutely brilliant game, each and every play. But the superbowl seems more a spectacle to most non football fan so sing away Romo…for those great posters on here that love football …this game was a treat For real, Kelce is a punk ass. Hope reid runs his ass into the ground in training camp or make him do blocking drills with Chris jones. Was awesome game, though. Unfortunately, I don’t think any other announcer out there provides Xs and Os. I did find it funny, think it was OT, 9ers show blitz, Romo says last time they showed this they brought it, lets see if they back out after snap.. ball’s snapped, 9ers bring the blitz, Romo says oh thats a mistake, ( lol ) and mahomes hits rice on the shallow cross for a first down and then some

Great KC SB win last night!! Great? Man you guys must really love the NFL. We aren’t even there and a bunch of you are happier than pigs in shit. Must like Taylor and Kelce huh? You don’t let your house watch the Super Bowl, but we’re the weird ones?

Patrick Mahomes brought home the hardware.. But it was Trent McDuffie who was the best player on the field. He locked down and threw away the key on Deebo Samuel. A blanket couldn’t cover him any better.. Huge pass broken up for a sure touchdown in the first half. And a timely blitz where he knocks down an errant throw by Purdy. Taking half the field away from the 49ers forced them to make plays elsewhere.

We watch the Giants out of tradition and remember old stories about when we were an organization that was worth a damn. Won’t find that anymore.

I don't know I don't think TB could drive down the field with 15 seconds to tie up the game. If I didn't see it with my own eyes I would not believe it myself. Mahommes literally gives you the best chance to win a game even with 15 secs left. That playoff game last year cemented it for me honestly. that was an unreal drive. Yes....no other QBs could have done that. I have also seen Brady have drives I dont think many QBs, if any could do with that consistency, accuracy and ice. Its a good sport debate. I think Mahomes will ultimately be crowned the best at the end of his career. Definitely TB is an assassin he knows how to win. That is all that really matters. Just win. Hopefully we can find a QB someday that can keep winning.

It will all come down to who they replace Andy with.

I didnt watch what they were doing with Kittle, but it feels like he should have been able to get free.

9ers fans have to feel cursed knowing that greenlaw went out early tearing an Achilles walking on the field. Arguably their most important player on defense, even more so than bosa. His absence was more and more obvious as the game went on. Front line was getting to mahomes (he really took a beating) but there were holes in coverage underneath they could exploit.

But the superbowl seems more a spectacle to most non football fan so sing away Romo…for those great posters on here that love football …this game was a treat I cant believe how big a dealt hey are making / have made, Taylor Swift. Kelce is Ogre from Revenge of the Nerds. The first 2-3 quarters of the game were pretty bad IMO. Sloppy, turnovers, bad play, etc. Only about 2-3 good plays the entire time. That 4th ! and OT was amazing. Chris Jones could have won the MVP. He made Purdy miss several big throws by bringing pressure. Chiefs are officially challenging the Patriots Dynasty. 6 straight AFC Champ games, 3 SB wins and 1 SB loss. Andy Reid is one of the greatest HCs ever. He is getting his nuggies today. Yeah for sure some fumbles but the defensive game plans, and the adjustments off the it happens turnovers were top notch. When Shanny burned a time out because the defense was in low prevent without any complications to at least attempt to confuse Mahomes pre snap said, keep up with Andy…that is not the right line up at all he wanted to see. Only spot where Romo was dead on. Trench warfare with zone blocking, power blocking, met by 2 weeks of film cramming and splendid execution by both defenses. If you wanted back and forth offense like that classic Allen vs Mahomes duel, this was not it…until the defenses started to gas. One defense keeping up with incredible misdirection while the other trying to contain Mahomes with disciplined pass rushing. Absolutely nail biting stuff. IMHO, spags went check, check check in the 2nd half, with Mahomes doing a mate on the last brilliant drive.

I didnt watch what they were doing with Kittle, but it feels like he should have been able to get free. Both Defenses did great. Chiefs made Kittle irrelevant and contained Deebo and Ayuik while being manhandled on the line most of the first half and 3rd quarter. It was basically McCaffery and Purdy anticipation and timing that was hard to defend. 49ers took everyone away for Mahommes for 3 quarters. Kelce started showing up when needed, Pacheco found some holes and stayed physical and Mahommes just stayed patient and either found anyone with hands or ran it himself.

The Chiefs made it their mission to take the outside away.. and force the game inside. You have a tight end who is devastating in the running game.. And is a nightmare in the air. Yet he gets a pathetic four targets all game. Maybe Kyle Shanahan was resting him for the season opener.

They will do what he wants offensively. The cap may ultimately be a hinderance.

So when does Taylor Swift endorse Joe Biden for president, now that the chiefs won?? I'm not sure if this was an actual qanon theory, but the qanaon guys on my job were regurgitating it all week Didn’t watch the game but I see K.C. Won, huh? The guys at my job were saying that Goodell had it all set up. The Chiefs were gonna win, then at the trophy presentation Kelce was going to call Swift down and propose to her in front of the whole world. He wants all the Swifties to be NFL fans. Look, sounds ****ing stupid to me, but this girl seems to have a tremendous amount of power or something. Enough to get Beyoncé fans pissed off every year and that girl never said shit about anybody. To my knowledge anyway….So I take it everyone is still single and just dating? The guys at your job are ****ing morons also.

Great KC SB win last night!! How ‘bout that Toney? You were right!!!
I didn't start watching the game until well into the 2nd quarter and didn't catch any pregame either. So there I was looking for 19 and found out just before the half that he was benched. Smart move by Reid. I wonder if he consulted with Mahomes or just knew it'd be best not to push his luck with Toney.

Reid is a HOF coach. He didn’t have to consult with anyone to know that was the best move. Earlier in the week he confirmed Toney was off the injury report and was practicing but said something to the effect of, “we’ll see if he’s up for playing.” Dude had no chance of playing in the great game of the year. Hasn’t played since week 15.

Before wrecking the last play of the broadcast I thought Romo was confused (“what’s going on?”) as to why KC was running a play rather than let the clock run out.

And on the other sideline....
"Andy Reid credited Chiefs statistical analysis coordinator Mike Frazier for working through all the strategies regarding the NFL's new postseason overtime rule, which was put to test for the first time in Super Bowl LVIII."

This is wild if true, especially considering Shanahans past... Im wondering if HE even knew, taking the ball first. That’s the least of his problems.. He’s staring down the barrel of an 0-2 record in the Super Bowl. And was front and center to the biggest collapse in Super Bowl history. As his offense in Atlanta took their foot off the pedal and parked in a ditch. He also has to explain to ownership that a team that has more studs than the Golden Gate Bridge. Is going back home empty handed.
