I created a post suggesting that the Giants should give Colin Kapernick a chance. Only a few responded. But why delete the thread?
This is the third such thread. I'm calling out the moderators on this. I'll screen shot this thread

A civil rights activist should be the Giants QB? Really?

No.
A 36 year old that hasn't played in 7 years and wasn't that good when he played should not be our QB. Also he seems like an uneducated dick, not even talking about the protests.

I'm sorry but if you think Colin Kaepernick is worth mentioning, then I don't know what to tell you. A 36 yo QB who hasn't played football, much less NFL football in 6-7 years. You are obviously trolling

If sir Colin hasnt played a snap in 6+ years, why should the Giants give this man a chance when 31 other teams came to the same conclusion with this guy?

I'm calling out the moderators on this. I'll screen shot this thread I don't see why the moderators would remove the post. But if you were to ask me, do I think the Giants should consider him for the team, I'd have to say no. He hasn't played in 6-7 years. Based on his actions, he doesn't come across as a person that wants to truly get back in the league. He wants attention, and quite frankly, the Giants don't need that attention, they need to rise from the dead. Kap should be focused on his activist movement. If he wants to play ball he should've joined the AFL, XFL, etc, that way he would have some recent film on his performance in real time. Bottom line I want players on this team that can help us win. Those SF days with Harbaugh are long gone.

A civil rights activist should be the Giants QB? Really? The civil right activist part doesn't bother me.. The question is, can the guy play? The answer is NO.

You can wear multiple hats, so what if Mahomes, Burrow, Lawrence, Hurts, Herbertt, Jackson, were all civil rights activist on the open market, would you be against the Giants bringing them in as a QB?

Couldnāt care less about his political-social commentary.
But to suggest the Giants try out or sign a guy who has been out of the league for 8 years is delete worthy.

as others have said, it has little to do with his activism, and everything to do with the fact that he was a mediocre QB to begin with, and hasn't played in 7 years.

If you're going to advocate for a Niners QB from the past.....could you pick a better one? Like Joe Montana or John Brodie?

If I am not mistaken he was given a chance and then refused to meet where the NFL scouts would be, he wanted it his way...........this ain't Burger King . He blew it, move on. www.denverpost.com/2019/11/16/colin-kaepernick-nfl-workout/RIVERDALE, Ga. ā Colin Kaepernick threw passes for about 40 minutes on a high school field, then signed autographs for hundreds of fans who gathered in an end zone to watch his NFL workout that was suddenly moved Saturday, the latest strange twist in the saga for the exiled quarterback. About six team representatives made it to the new location, including Philadelphia Eagles vice president of football operations Andrew Berry. It appeared the Jets, Redskins and Chiefs also had someone in attendance. Just 15 minutes before Kaepernick was scheduled to work out for 25 NFL teams at the Atlanta Falconsā training complex in Flowery Branch, his representatives announced the session had been moved 60 miles away to a high school in Riverdale. The stunning move seemed to catch everyone off-guard and came about an hour before the rescheduled workout was set to begin, putting many in scramble mode. Kaepernick threw passes to free agent receivers Bruce Ellington, Brice Butler, Jordan Veasy and Ari Werts

The NFL has already gone swimming in the far left activist cesspool. The Giants donāt need to even stick their toe in it. They have enough problems.

I suggested the same at a different Giants site and was beaten up by several other posters. Kaepernick was a damn good QB for Frisco and the only thing he did that made everyone angry was simply taking a knee during the national anthem. This was before George Floyd was murdered by the police in front of the world to see. Colin Kaepernich would probably love to come back to play, but I doubt any of the owners and front offices would have the guts to invite him.

Colin Kaepernich would probably love to come back to play, but I doubt any of the owners and front offices would have the guts to invite him. I wouldnāt consider people disagreeing with your opinion about a football player to be getting beaten up. Thatās a bit dramatic for an internet discussion. As I read the comments about this it occurs to me that Kaepernick was a very, very similar player to Jones with the same strengths and weaknesses. Theyāll take the team as far as the talent of the team, no further. From a football perspective it appears that many people like you tend to exaggerate his talents and downplay his shortcomings, just as many Jones fans here do. And as weāre seeing again, limited QBs like them donāt last long in this league. Not to rain on your revisionist parade but the fact is that at the time Kaepernick became more well known for his protest than his play, he had already lost his starting job. That decision predated and had absolutely nothing to do with his activism. While I agree with you that no team will sign him now, itās got nothing to do with guts and everything to do with him not being good enough to offset his baggage. No one wants a high maintenance backup QB. If he was very good, his baggage would not matter that much. The reason no team wants him now is that he is not good enough.

He's always been better than Jones but this many years removed from the game? Nope. I don't exactly remember when he was blacklisted from the league but at the time I do remember thinking he was better than 2/3 of the league. Ship has sailed though.
