I think we all want #1 or #2 but coaches coach for their Jobs in seasons like this and players play for pride or jobs or contracts. None of us can change any of that, this is what schoen gets paid for as Danke said above, to go 2 - 15 we'd lose our last 9 games straight, does anyone really want to see that, and the other issues that would arise from it? Losing is for losers. I hope we screw up our draft position more against NE and win that one too. Thats right our GM gets paid to do the best he can for the franchise with what ever draft capital he has and what what ever free agent cash he has. Think has been pretty good so far especially since he got his guys in the building.

The 6th turnover put the game away. The team is awful and needs long term talent more than winning incompetent bowls.

Well unfortunately Washington gave them the ball and the game that is it no changing it as I said Schoen will have to figure it out I trust he will. Remember the 2018 QB class the 2 best one was picked I think 7th and other 30th the guys picked 1 and 3 are just NFL nomads and Rosen is out of the league or a backup some where.

I agree, yet my take is you have a shot at whomever you want rather than hope the guy you want falls. And why not? If youāre an awful team why win a meaningless game. Iāll say it again, Lawrence on the Jets would have been a nightmare for us and they cannot win without a QB. Not to mention, the draft slot carries (slight deviation) to other Rounds. Team needs talent and honestly, does anybody really feel these two wins over Washington mean anything? Go beat Philly who is playing for something and Iāll be better with a win. Not a Philly team who benches the whole team and we win 12-9 to close out the season.

The players are paying blood the equivalent of 15 to 20 car wrecks every sunday these men are not going to jus lie down and quit to get a guy in here that ir highly touted but has 0 proof he won't bust. If they lose their way to a first or second pick so be it but they will never try to lose a game form the top to the bottom.

They are getting paid and should try to win. Like every game vs Washington the game was awful. How many sacks did Washington have the past 2/3 weeks? I think they had 1. Yesterday they had 9 lol yet turned the ball over 6 times. We have this DeVito kid with 6 TDS and 2 int. Heās been sacked 22 times and he really isnāt that good. Yet, we have Jones with 2 TDs and 6 ints and was sacked 30 times. He had another neck injury and now a torn ACL. The Giants need a QB now and donāt need to lose out or trade up for a target b/c the beat a Washington. The NFL doesnāt use a lottery system.

And this win evened out the Jet loss yet didnāt help the draft slot.

What happened to all the Barkley haters? the Daboll hater is still trying to justify himself š.Ā You have an inability to address what posters are posting. It's always bait and switch. Criticizing Daboll doesn't render me a Daboll hater. But given your limitations, can see you thinking that. He coached well last season. I don't believe Daboll has the potential to be great coach as I had hoped, but would like to see how fairs with a good O-line. Don't like his behavior on the field and in interviews, but that's irrelevant. Hope for Gameday's sake the Giants are are soon a good team. He's a true fan. I'm a more limited fan. Only like team's that are enjoyable to watch.

The Giants have been collectively the worse team in the league for something like the past 3-4 years combined and theyāve straight up sucked for almost a decade minus a 1-2 years here and there.

It means more to me if the HC is cerebral who out thinks other HC 's with his schemes note than the talent level of his team. As a good HC can win games an inferior talent level. I have a serious questions as to Daboll's potential. Just hope that Giants are fun to watch. Some games have been brutal. Fans root for teams for difference reasons. That's fine with me, not so for some posters here.

I'm a more limited fan. Only like team's that are enjoyable to watch. Yet you claim to have left the 49ers fandom to become a Giants fan after 2021? The 49ers were coming off the heels of a SB appearance and perennial conference championship games. The Giants were coming off a 4-13 season during a historically bad five year stretch... with their GM, HC and coaching staff getting fired. Not that you ever make sense but you literally cannot keep up with your own web of lies and insanity.

I stopped being a rabid Niners fan years ago when they were also losers but had Bill Wash as their HC. After he left I slowly lost interest and was indifferent when they played in the SB. I started following the Giants in 2021. Wanted to root for a team where I reside. Had misplaced faith in Judge who's a good talker with no substance. Guess you agree with that. I'm looking forward to seeing if Schoen does what most fans here want him to do or goes in another direction. Got to love insightful Giants fans here two weeks ago they wanted their two best offensive players gone. Can see why Giants fans won't relinquish their reputation as losers a lmytime soon.

Hate to say it if they want a QB that bad they will have to trade up if they continue win a couple more games QB is that important gotta have the guts to do what necessary. And thereās only one part of the issue. Gotta love the guys who say āif thereās a QB they like, they do what they have to do to move up and get himā. Hypothetically, say that happens and we give up something like next years 1st and 3rd and this years 2nd and 3rd (obviously depending how far back we are) How many people are going to look back and say āIād still rather have beat Washington and New England and give up those picks instead of losing a meaningless gameā. You have a disconnect here we all want the higher pick if you think coaches and players are gonna throw games for draft picks you have some serious cannibis will you share. We cannot change the out come of games they won I'm not gonna be pissed off because of it thats real football every game for a player could be their last they don't give 2 f@#$s about the draft pick the coaches have to get wins or them or their assistants will be gone. Schoen Brown Cowden and Risetti have to find players or their dream ends to. I want the first pick but I know that if the Giants can win a game they are gonna do it it is something people need to accept.
