Mike not this game. **** Philly, the draft is more important. Mike a loss here is a win. We can beat Philly twice next year. Look, after this game I won't really care so much either way cause logically a loss is "better" in the long run, but I'll never hope we lose a game. **** that, **** philly and **** the draft. There's plenty of good players to draft. OK, I'll put you down as a maybe.  |

it’s not an opinion if the Giants beat backups. It’s a fact the Eagles aren’t playing. Did they say that? Vegas seems to disagree with you which is why I ask. They were 8.5 favorites in Philly last week, now after playing close last time and them sucking more we are only 5.5 dogs at home. The Chiefs and Ravens seem to be the only teams likely to rest players this weekend.
Either way I don't care. I'll take the 5th or 7th or what ever, not like having top draft slots have made us world beaters to this point lol.

Hopefully we play them tight and knock a few them silly for the playoffs but maintain our draft position I’ll edit my response “ that would be a telling ending to our pathetic season. Beating an Eagles team who sits out and wreck our draft position followed by getting annihilated by their starters next season”. We really are becoming Jet like Still want the draft position that means a loss to stay put. |

This might not eliminate them from the playoffs but it ensures they don't win the division and a loss against us going into the playoffs will surely be very bad for them mentally. Add in an early playoff exit and suddenly Sirianni will be on the hot seat like the other Philly coaches of the past. |

I think it’s odd people have such disdain for the Eagles that it matters more to beat them for no other than because they don’t like them than to secure a better draft position and grab the first choice franchise QB - OL - WR .
I just don’t like the Eagles period. Grudges are a waste of energy. I was captured by football and the Giants when my dad brought home a program from the Giants Eagles game. I believe 1964 - that’s how I remember it. He went to a bar after the game for a beer and some Giants players were there. My dad got 7 or 8 autographs. I was 6 so can’t recall who signed the program. I do think Del Shofner was one of them.
My dad did not like the Eagles so I didn’t either. I admire some or maybe even many players but the fans are total buttlicks. Largest asshole fan base I can think of at the moment.
It’s not like I like the Eagles I’d just rather get the best pick possible.

We desperately need a QB and not have to trade up to get the one we want....we have some talented ones this year, yes even more arm talent than the noodle Daniel Jones has. Having a live armed QB who is cool and calm, can make reads and scramble with a slide for first downs ...it's all there for the taking. Losing to the Eagles on a meaningless last game can create a decade of beating the Eagles....I prefer the sane logical approach vs the April "oh shit"..there goes another one vs.... that sure was fun beating the Eagles as they went into the playoffs and we played with mock drafts and hoped a tackle would be there to protect our back up QB. Sure the QB we take may be a bust, as can any early pick...but in a QB driven league you keep picking until you get it right. Barkley at 2.  |

Well, Giants had two first rounders, one is okay and the other is a wasted pick, so no one knows with absolute certainty any pick for that matter. Some are great, others are good and serviceable and then there are the ones that never pan out.
Play the game to win and let the teams sort it out on the field of play.
As a fan, I want the Giants to win especially since we have not beat them is quite some time, nothing odd about being a fan. imo

We are in desperate need of a QB. We’re in position to draft a top tier qb in a qb heavy draft. I’m not going to cheer when the eagles score but saying F the draft position is short sided in my opinion.
A qb can turn a franchise around day-1. Beating the eagles would simply thin out the talent pool by the time we pick next draft. The absolute best long term outcome for the Giants this weekend would be a loss.

I would love nothing more than to see Giants beat Philly next Sunday! If not, it could get interesting at 5-12. If any of the current 4-12 teams...Commanders, Patriots or Cardinals win, Giants move to 4. If 2 win, Giants go to 3. If all 3 win, Giants get to 2! Pretty sure I got that right. All has to due with Strength of Schedule. Since Giants have they lowest SOS, they get tie breakers for better pick position. Giants would be in front of any 5-12 teams. That makes an assumption that SOS doesn't change. Oh yes this is what I've been saying also. First we need to lose to Philly, we can beat them twice next year. I have a good feeling N.E. beats the Jets. I think Belichek is gone after next week with the Pats. I don't think Belichek loses his last game with the Pats in N.E. Arizona plays Seattle, this has a possibility of an upset. No way Wash. beats Dallas. Wash. has quit, Rivera gets fired, and Dallas wins division with a win and #2 in playoff ranking in NFC. But we have realistic chance of gaining 2 slots up to #3. That's QB territory. We also get a better draft pick from our trade with Seattle if they lose. |
