GL was an excellent poster and really awesome around draft time him and Aris were my go to guys as i have said i'm busy on Saturdays only get to see one game they filled in the rest. RIP my brother. Miss him like a brother .... board lost a huge piece with his passing. Absolutely big loss for all of us really good dude sad that he had to leave this place so soon.

I knew Chris from two forums prior to this. We would message each other regularly. He would get so hot about someone's reply to his posts, I'd just tell him not to take it seriously. We had bitter arguments at times over stupid things. Like his insistence that the NFL was the NBA on grass, and the running game was obsolete. He believed in the passing game and that making big plays was the only way a team should be run. I always believed in a balanced offense. The last year or so he was here, we got on well. We would message each other about those wins in '22. I knew something was up when he dropped from the board late that season. I was so sorry he missed the playoff run. He was a huge Jones supporter and I always wonder what he'd say about last season. But I always regretted the arguments we had here. You just never know what the future holds. It has taught me to keep conversations civil, we're all Giants fans rooting for the same purpose. Always keep that in mind when you see my avatar of GL jamming out. I feel you. We had a few heated but over all got along. I did a few side chats with him about music and playing and found out a bit more about each as well. Didn't know he was ill. From the little I did know about him he seemed to thoroughly enjoy his life and even though it was cut short he had that. Like that you have him as your avatar

Thanks for starting this thread Mike. My favorite thing about this site is how small it is compared to some other teams forums and it’s like a small family even when we disagree. Like most people on here, I definitely got into it a few times with GL (lol) but he seemed like a good dude and he was definitely a passionate and knowledgeable fan like the majority of us.

Olav Ha- Shalom (Rest In Peace). Same terrible, heinous cancer that felled my brother many years ago. Incurable horrible disease. My thoughts, prayers and condolences are with his friends and family.

I wouldn’t have regrets if I were you. Seems like he love spirited debates about football/Giants. You were just fulfilling a passion of his. He probably appreciates you and has nothing but fond memories.
