Hyatt and Wandale have to become a dual threat for this lineup to even begin to look formidable. The whole DJ scenario at the helm, leaves me to believe this could be a bottom 5 offense. Waller is in the halfway house, Singletary isn't a bell cow, and Slayton is a 3rd, 4th option on most teams. The FO has to hit on this draft. On paper this looks pathetic.

Nabers, if they're going that route. I'll take either but I think only 1 will be there. Well 1 will definitely be there. There is a possibility that both Odunze and Nabors will both be there at #6.

please no Tes. I remember people drooling to hold Jeremy Ruckert jock strap here a couple of years ago and then last year Michael Myers who ended up dropping out of the first round. TEs are used less than running backs on offense. It is a pass for me on 1st round TEs. They rarely ever make a difference on offense. Except on the 2 biggest dynasties in the last 2 decades. If I told you the guy we'd draft would be Gronk or Kelce, how would you feel? The problem I have is the bust rate on 1st round TEs...maybe that's your point also. Kyle Pitts was supposed to be the next big thing...he's a no show...Mayer last year.

*for Darren Waller as he's uncommitted at this time.
Not bad...if it was Josh Allen on the top left

I agree 1st TEs are usually fools gold. They get less offensive reps than rbs so not much impact on offensive unless they are truly "generational".

Better get a WR in the draft. Nabers or Harrison Jr. will be there for the taking

I'd love Nabors or Harrison Jr, but I want a QB. We need a pilot badly. Trade up, sell the farm, rent your jock strap, do anything to get something better than DJ. He's one good hit away from that neck popping up yet again.

I think the great ones make a tremendous difference on offense. Gronk, Kelce, Kittle, Olsen etc. The problem is you need to find that TE AND the OC/HC that can use them. Do we have that OC/HC? Is Bowers that TE? No clue on either of those. I'd go WR here. Every offense in the league can use a great WR.
I meant first rd TE barely make a difference. The ones you mentioned were outside 1st rd except Olsen but he was traded to the team he made difference on.

All weapons and the playcalling adjusting to a all pro LT, a failure at RT “LG”, a horrific rookie center trying year 2, a right guard that gave away half his snaps to a rookie guard, and a probable swing tackle on the right A maybe, chain link fence vs a wall….team has a OT buffet at 6….far more valuable then a x receiver at this spot This draft reminds me of the 2 pick of Barkley….a wr at 6 with a Notre Dame OL stud sitting there ….and QB talent to be had n an auction… matching our biggest need. I heard the death blow was not hitting the first 2 picks…QB and some blocking will go a lot further than a X receiver …IMHO for those curious.

I struggle with that too why these late rd guys keep hitting but I think they are on more complete teams that have an established offensive identity that have a plan for that position and know the type of player to draft. We still need to establish our offensive identity and fix the oline until that happens we are going to be using blocking TE more than Recieving TEs. Especially if they are going to 2nd and 3rd reads.
