I find it funny that the posters who have the strongest opinions on every draft pick are the ones who have historically had the most horrific draft takes on this MB. So ******* what.. If anything has taught us over the years.. Fans don’t know shit. They have no skin in the game, and are held hostage by a bunch of suits and ties. Fan is short for fantasy.. Because their thoughts are that of pure delusion. No one.. and I mean no one knows how the draft will pan out. All we are going by is gut feeling that could easily be mistaken for indigestion. As long as the human factor is present, there will always be uncertainty. Before these kids ink their lives away, and become pros after a lifetime of being Joes. The weight of responsibility and accountability will weigh on them more than an anchor. While the word patience will be all but used up by the fourth game. This class will be tasked at being more than just students. They will have a crash course in being a professional on the most unforgiving platform. The problem is those fans, the other poster is talking about, are also the most boisterous and condescending towards other posters who have a differing opinion.

Do you think Tracy will be the kick returner? I have no clue. I am sure he will be asked to contribute on STs. I just look at his style and draft profile and as a fan have chosen him to be the "big find" for the NYGs. These guys really like Tracy. One of their favorite players in the draft.

we get it yet he is picking #1 overall. Then again, had Gettleman been drafting at #1 years ago he still would have taken Barkley. The #1 overall pick was from a trade with CAR. So Chicago didn’t pick #1? Who cares how they obtained it?

So Chicago didn’t pick #1? Who cares how they obtained it? Explain what you meant by "yet he is picking #1 overall." The video is about holding onto players too long or admitting mistakes. It’s a pretty easy decision to make when you pick #1, there is a franchise QB waiting and your Qb last season was late in his rookie contract.

It seemed like your comment was a counterargument to his philosophy by stating, "... yet he is picking #1 overall" (meaning, it's not working). If not, my bad.

Not draft related, but CJ Stroud is hilarious on this video. He pretty much says that the Giants and Commanders were nothing 😄. No lies told Stroud did crack me up...but Parsons was clear he was talking about going into 2023 haha. I'm not sure I'd put the NFC East above the AFC North going into last year...but with the birds, cowboys, and Giants all supposed to have good years, I know what Micah is saying.

If his college game transfers to the NFL he will be a more than solid player.

Can see Tracy starting. Should give Singletary a run for his money. Just hope OL can open some inside lanes for him to run thru.. He'll be a killer outside sweeps, and on cut-backs when he runs outside. . Better receiver than Barkley. Barkley won't be missed..

We really did need a player like him (at least on paper until we see what he can really do at the NFL level of course)

Barkley won't be missed.. So after a year of you crying about the unfair treatment of Barkley, how Schoen is a moron for not resigning him to a bigger offer, how Schoen is an idiot for letting Barkley walk… …you finally catch up to the rest of us calling you out. Jesus Christ Miggs/Mendy you’re a parody.

Funny thing I heard this morning.. reminded me of the Daniel Jones draft pick and the points made about why Maye took a step back in 2023...
The talking was that Maye didnt have the weapons or OL at UNC in 2023 which is why his play fell off a bit and (IMO) was very inconsistent. The same things were being said about DJ. And in both cases, they went to teams that have the same issues in the NFL. The Patriots are not in a great spot to support a growing rookie QB. What other great players do the Pats have? On offense? To help out Maye through what will most likely be a rocky year 1.
Just thought it was interesting to hear Pats fans and radio talk about it, and how is mirrored the DJ talking points in 2019.
Good luck with that.

Jesus Christ Miggs/Mendy you’re a parody. There's a big difference in signing him the year before to a long term contact which I believe today the Giants should have done. By failing to do so and forcing Barkley to play under a one year contract created bad blood and almost dictated that he would not be franchised this season. Also, an argument could be made he should have been traded last season so the Giants would get some value. Assessments change from year to year. Too bad you have no ability to see that. I believe that Schoen has treated Barkley poorly and I wanted to see him go to a team that valued him. Now he'll be playing with a much better offensive line than the Giants will have this season. Glad to see him have a chance to shine. Whether Giants are as good without him is not known, but I'm hopeful they will be. One could not predict who they would sign as free agents or draft. It appears Schoen did well but only after the season ends will we know for sure.

I'm happy Barkley received a good contract, and am looking forward to seeing how he plays for the Eagles. I'd be surprised if he didn't play exceedingly well. Philly players are glad to have him.

My opinion is more speculative than set in stone. I should have been clearer. It's why I'm hopeful. The new players still have a lot to prove given that the draftee has yet to play in the NFL. I've expressed that I'm more concerned about McKinney's departure and possibly Waller's departure than I am Barkley's departure, but I may be wrong.
