That’s what happens when u suck for so long but get to stick around bc you did something good almost a decade ago but half the fan base acts like he’s a victim instead. Poor Elisha, let’s allow him to play and hold us back another two seasons, why not? Whoa... not going crazy here... where the Giants are starving for some good news... Eli led a game winning drive tonight... thus, for the moment gonna just enjoy it... once it wears off... back to reality of... QB of the future... next year is the final year of his contract...only one season left... unless the Giants buy him out... which I doubt will happen... You don’t get it. This FO has been deflecting questions and dodging blame for five yrs now. I wanted them to put their money where their mouth is and bench this entitled turd but of course Elisha comes out with fire. Where was this fire in recent years when seasons were on the line?? He’s doin it for selfish reasons just like he cried like a bitch when he was benched last season and got everyone to feel sorry for him. My Giants are bigger than him, **** him and his last drive. He will be back and games like this help Mara sell it to the portion of the fan base that wants to move on. As a Giants fan, I have never wanted them to lose, until tonite.

Eli with the textbook post game interview. Did he mention having to execute better? What about enjoying the trip home and then putting it behind them quickly to focus on the next opponent?

I really enjoyed this game. Eli showed flashes and we may have found a line combination that works. All I ask from this team is to be competitive in each and every game. I was proud of Odell for the comments he made post game. I think he finally gets it. Eli, as usual with stellar comments post game.

OMG we finally found a Lineman who can pick up a stunt! Was very happy with Jamon Brown at Right Guard for his first game and haven't been here very long. Still a work in progress but some positives to try and build upon but then again...It Was The 49ers! I bet that’s exactly what Eli was thinking on that play!

No where am I granting anything. Expressing my opinion on Eli, then apologizing about raining on the original posters parade. Enjoy the win, it feel good! No one needs you to grant anything. this dude thought I was serious.

What I can't be happy for the guy and want to draft a QB at the same time? Yes , you can. Some poster's just like to antagonize to make themselves feel better. Look in the mirror my friend.

The Giants and Niners actually put on a better game than expected. The Giants may have finally found the right combination for the OL. Eli had a fairly good performance and Shurmur's playcalling was aggressive and creative at times. Yeah, they only beat the Niners, but a win is a win. At this point, I'd be happy if the Giants had beat a JV team.

No, I do get it and it is my opinion... so you do not like Eli... great that is your opinion... FO thought they had a plan... lame as it turns out now... dude stepped up for a night... so is there some correlation to the fact he had some blocking?... yes, imo... is this feeling sorry for Eli?... No... for once in the crap season he performed... we saw some TDs... even OBJ danced... Eli did what he was supposed to do be the QB... that does not change the QB situation... but appreciating what he did do as a fan...

OMG we finally found a Lineman who can pick up a stunt! This is refreshing to see and I remember being a little shocked when it happened. Seems like Eli was a little shocked too, lol. Almost went into "sack mode" but then realized he could step back then step up into a pocket. Again, refreshing to see.

Dammit! There goes the #1 pick. Those of you hoping this team goes 8-0 or 7-1 or 6-2 in the 2nd half amuse me. This team needs to finish with a top 3 pick if not #1. Going 7-9 or 8-8 hurts us in the draft as all the top OL/DLmen will probably be gone by the time we were to pick in the middle teens. I also wanna see Lauletta in action this yr & we won't see him if the Giants are winning.

Since there’s literally no chance of any of the actual QBs beating the Giants, I’m gonna worry more about the teams.
