Looks like the 2019 class of qbs is gonna be reminiscent of the 2013 class when EJ Manuel and Geno Smith were the top 2 qbs picked, so IMO we look forward to 2020
Who are you guys hoping we get??
Who is your fav, and why??
Who do you hate for us and why??

There’s Tua, Fromm, Eason, Herbert, Milton and always another riser.
Tua gets the hype and I think he’s good. Fromm will be good I think. Eason is a better version of Herbert. I believe Eason will be the best, that’s pure opinion.
Production over Potential would say Tua or Fromm.

I am a fan of both Tua and Fromm. I am enamored by Fromm . He has the tools and showed them off at a young age ( a rare trait in a QB) I would be happy with Tua also. He can throw a football with accuracy from any contorted position his body is in. IMO: They both are going to be really good NFL QBs .

I think Justin Fields will be eligible as well. He was backing up Fromm this season at Georgia but is now transferring. He is like a Watson type to watch out for. I think he will be very good.
Im on the Fromm train though. I think the kid is a special talent.

If Herbert takes the next step and fixes his flaws I would be happy with any of these guys.

I believe Standford has a QB worth considering as well as . Hunter Johnson xfered to Northwestern and he may be someone to keep an eye on next year as well. There always seems to be a QB who seemingly pops outta nowhere so Im sure more will be added to this list later.

Tua does look great, but I really worry about a Bama QB. Surrounded by NFL players. The one WR Ruggs looks like another Odell Beckham. And that RB looks legit too. And he has an NFL OLine. It's crazy this team is known for the defense but has such an amazing offense.

Murray would be the top pick in draft if he decided to play football He can more than be Eli's replacement for me ....

Murray would be the top pick in draft if he decided to play football He can more than be Eli's replacement for me .... Unfortunately it would be a short (and exciting) career. He is virtually a pure running qb. Those guys don't last long in the NFL.. Besides he already has 4 mil of Billy Beane's money in his pocket..

He is so unbelievably fast out there. I'm not sure I've seen a faster QB. Maybe Vick?

I bet even Lauletta would love playing for Alabama right now. I'm not saying Tua stinks or wont be great, but that team is so loaded its unfair to other teams. They have 4 NFL WRs and 2 NFL RBs on the team. Most other teams could have 1 at most.

So doing some (slight) reverse engineering you can conclude that the Bama OL and DL would be better than some NFL rosters..

So doing some (slight) reverse engineering you can conclude that the Bama OL and DL would be better than some NFL rosters.. I would tend to agree. I think both are better than ours lol. They are all pretty much NFL draft picks, and most of them 1st rounders IMO. They also have 4 NFL level WRs and 2 NFL level RBs. And Im sure a couple of those DBs and LBs will be on an NFL roster starting. Its insane how loaded they are every year. This Alabama team might be the most talented we have seen in this dynasty IMO. There is no hole and the depth is insane. I expect them to beat Clemson by at least 2 TDs.

They looked scary good with a Freshmen QB against a stout Notre Dame Defense. That 19 year old QB the tigers is going to be a star in the NFL. Some of the throws he made yesterday raised my eyebrows on how well he threads the needle.

I think it's also time to add Sam Erlinger to the 2020 list. For many that was the first time people have seen him, this was my 3rd time. Legit this guy has all the it factor/will to win and running style of Tebow, the accuracy and arm of Brees(not a huge arm but an NFL arm)and the pocket presencd/escapability of Wilson. The passes he was throwing the other night, ball placement, anticipation, that was Brees like. Of course its concerning how wreckless he was running and all the designed runs, pretty sure no coach is going to call 4 straight qb runs, But just the threat of him, with Barkley, the TEs and Beckham, inside the 5. Yep..he goes in tbe equation with Tua,Fromm,Eason,Herbert,Milton, and Costello
What a class if we wait.

Trevor Lawrence should be in the conversation also. I think he will be the best of the bunch.
Edit: scratch that he will be elegible in 2021

Justin Fields Georgia QB, behind Fromm. Remember, Coach Smart put him in for first two plays against Alabama. That was towards the end of game. That means Haskins is declaring for the draft.

It’s so early yet. Two of the top qbs this year didn’t play last year...hanskins and Murray. More people will emerge. The last few drafts have yielded on average about 3 starting QBs per draft. The giants will eventually get theirs.
If all else fails...get another RB and run the ball. Not a bad option with Barkley and another good RB.
