Well if that added rest injects new life into the starters moving forward you might not be as appreciative. Our manager knows what he's doing. I'll take every Red Sux loss against a weaker team that I can get. The only losses we could possibly have are against weaker teams. I crack myself up. #Godsteam

So the Yankees beat deGrom on Friday night, and lose Severino's start tonight... What does John Sterling always say? "That's baseball Suzyn!!".
Oh well.... At least Joey Cora and the Chicago White Sox helped out the Yankees this weekend.

The season is SO long. Ups and downs happen all the time and you have to roll with it. No way either team is going to keep this pace up.
Sox lose 2 out of three to a bad team at home. It happens. Betts not being in there is killing them but that's temporary.
I refuse to get upset over something like this. It's the nature of the game.

Jonathan Loaisiga set to make MLB debut for Yankees on Thursday. The Yankees are high on the 23-year-old righty, who has ascended from Class-A Tampa to Double-A Trenton this season. He is 6-1 in 10 combined minor-league starts between Tampa and Trenton this season. Most impressively, he’s walked four and struck out 58 in 45 innings, though he’s given up 47 hits. “He’s really talented,” Aaron Boone said. “We think he has a very bright future. His stuff is really good. He’s a guy that pounds the strike zone.” The team also doesn’t feel Loaisiga will be overwhelmed by taking the mound at Yankee Stadium. www.nydailynews.com/sports/baseball/yankees/ny-sports-loaisiga-debut-20180612-story.html

Wow, the Mariners rallied to win 7-6?? I had to turn it off after watching that dismal 3rd inning that made it 6-3 Red Sux!!

Steve wins again, Stanton and Sanchez go yard. Amazing that players having “bad seasons” are contributing so much.

Report: Yankees, Mariners vying to acquire veteran Toronto Blue Jays LHP J.A. Happ. It's no secret that the New York Yankees have been active in seeking reinforcements for their starting rotation, but another American League contender has emerged as a competitor in the race for one of the top rentals on the market, Toronto Blue Jays lefty J.A. Happ. According to reports from MLB.com's Jon Morosi, the Seattle Mariners have joined the Bombers in the sweepstakes for Happ, as both clubs enter play Monday in tight races for their respective divisions. The Yankees (46-21) are tied with the rival Red Sox (49-24) in the AL East, while the Mariners (46-25) have ridden their good fortune in one-run games to keep nipping at the heels of the defending champion Astros (47-25). web.yesnetwork.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20180618&content_id=281792668&tcid=fb_share

Ballgame over.... Yankees win!!! Now go Twins! Well only three weeks left in the old boards so your buddy The Analyst will come over here and bring his rare brand of pessimism.
Maybe that's just what we Sox fans need. All that bad Karma for the Yanks.

STANTONIAN WALK OFF!!!!
What a comeback win tonight! Down 5-0, only to tie it 5-5, then with two outs in the bottom of the 9th, Stanton has his Yankees' signature moment!!

Don't worry Mr. Bronx......it's a long season and we aren't even at the halfway point yet.

During the TV broadcast of last night's GREAT comeback win, Michael Kay mentioned that the Yankees' schedule for the second half of the season is the third easiest schedule in the American League, when it comes to opponent's winning percentage. He then mentioned the Red Sux second half schedule will be tougher than their 1st half.
