That DG soundbite is being worn out on the radio... Sounds like an idiot. Everyone killing him for it. When is his presser?

35 million in dead cap space, 10 mil. more than any other team in the league. Great job Gettleman!

This is all so bizarre, Id feel better about it if there was an actual solid plan. If we were to lose collins and obj like this, I wish it had just been done as a total rebuild from the day gettleman and co. took the reins. are we still trying to win right in the middle of a rebuild? is that what this is? its just odd. Ive loved Eli for everything hes done but at this point ugh just move on from this entire era now. really cut all ties. oh i know we're all adamant that Eli has to be here to groom the next guy. meh, im starting to not care about that as much. groom him for what, to throw lame ducks at the feet of our running back 3 yards from the line of scrimmage. sick of the oline nonsense, of Eli's strange, inconsistent play, of a wuss defense... ( i do see the signs of this all improving, just frustrated) Barkley is the only shining light in this organization and i fear hes gonna be 3 years away now from any chance of winning. maybe the giants have some aces in the hole with this draft, maybe theres receivers they think have elite potential, maybe they are already totally sold on a qb if not haskins.... i really hope theres some actual plan, cause it sure doesnt seem like it now. meh, venting frustration, its not so much the losing as its been many years of the giants now running around in circles with no idea where the destination is. no idea what to think anymore. I feel as you do. This team seems disconnected with no plan. At least from a fan perspective. They are creating more holes than they fill.

I can see the narrative now. After 2-3 years of sucking hind tit, the Giants will finally creep up to 8-8, SB’s best years may be behind him and we’ll have a few top tier players from sucking and having high draft picks. The DG supporters will praise him for drafting so well (due to a bad team he constructed) and they will tell us what a great GM he is for leaving us with a better record than what he inherited. Success!

In line with Gettlemens moves throughout his tenure. They just dont make sense

Is that some kind of organized session or does it all just come together organically?

Lmao. What a dumpster fire this all is. He must have a solid plan .. right... Right??? I don't know if he does or if he doesn't but that's not a take you're going to get anywhere else. I only know that no one in the media, on sports talk radio or these boards knows. Of that I am certain.

At least I'd really hope so, but nothing with this team or org. honestly surprises me at this point. I just sit back hope the best but absolutely expect the worst. It's what we've come to expect lately.

The only thing that seems far fetched to me is going 8-8 in 2-3 years.

Very difficult watching a super bowl winning team be allowed to simply deteriorate into shambles. All I can do at this point is hope for the best and plan for the worst.

I Wanted Louis Riddick As Our GM Not David Gettleman by the way! lol
No, but I'm willing to wait and see what Gettleman's plan is here, I will give him until 2021. Yes I understand rebuilding takes time but when you move a player like Beckham, you will not be given much "Time" you BETTER have a great plan in place to turn this thing around quickly and make people for get about Beckham. Gettleman is DONE if you traded Beckham and he is lighting it up with the Browns while we're over here struggling
Most think he could've gotten more but I'm thinking they wanted Beckham completely out of the NFC if/when they did move him
Gettleman needs another great Draft like last years draft to make this PAIN go away. I still like our Roster on Offense with Barkley, Engram, Shepard and the Offensive Line is a Right Tackle away from being a very Good Line. Need to find the next Franchise QB and 2 STAR Players on Defense, Hopefully a Superstar Edge Rusher and a Lock Down Cornerback

IMO you're over estimating the thoughtful analysis spectrum while severely under estimating the validation metric.

How long does it take to realize that the Giants are building the team around Rosas?

Signed TheAnalyst You ****ing schmuck. You only got a 1st and 3rd and J Peppers? WTF is wrong with this man!? Trade Odell and keep Eli?! Our rebuild just got extended until 2022. Actually, Gettleman got more than I thought he would for the oft injured head case. Jabril Peppers is very good, plus a 1st and 3rd....great trade. Best part is Gettleman got rid of Odell before his value completely vanished after another injury filled season in 2019. Agreed!

O hated the move at first to. But listening to analysts on this the giants can potentially end up with 7 players out of this. The 1st & 3rd plus Peppers = 3 Getting back the early 4th is huge vs ths Browns mid 5th round pick. You can possibly find a starter in early 4th. Mid 5th on you can but a lot more rare. This = 1 I know they have the 16M in dead guaranteed money to eat. But with the money left they save this year off his contract they can sign another good player. This = 1 Next season with the boat load of cash saved from this deal they can sign to really good starters = 2 That's 7 for 1. Your going to rebuild the team much faster this way vs keeping Odell on that crippling 96M deal
