Ja Morant has to be in the discussion for the 2nd overall draft pick. R.J. Barrett You're most likely right. I am just saying that Morant has to be considered seriously.

And just like that, Syracuse loses to Baylor. I'm not even surprised. With or without Howard, they were going to lose. They are just a mediocre basketball program these days and I think that Jimmy has lost way too much zip on his fastball. Maybe when he leaves we can finally get a big that has an actual low post move.

Virginia Tech Virginia Florida State North Carolina The ACC is absolutely loaded. I wouldn't be surprised one bit by an all ACC final 4. I think 3 big east teams made the final four in 1987.

On Sat. of rd. 1 I find myself getting killed in almost every bracket. I do have Duke winning it all also.

LSU punches their Sweet 16 ticket with a last second bucket over Maryland. This is what makes this tourney so fun. 75% of the games feel like it could go either way.

It was actually 1985. My bad. Georgetown, St John's, and Villanova. 1987 had cuse and providence there. Old school big east basketball was something else. There really weren't any bad teams there

There really weren't any bad teams there The old Big East was the best basketball in the country. And in '85 there should have been 3-5 other Big East teams in the tournament but the rest of the country would have been crying and screaming till they wet their pants. As many teams that went to the tournament the Big East still got gipped as usual.

Uconn has been the most successful team since 2000. Think about that. 4 times they won it all. 4 completely different teams too.

UCF got totally hosed by the refs on that put back by Barrett. How the hell was that not a push off? The refs were not going to let Duke lose that game at that point. Duck Fuke.

The three point play by Zion, towards the end should have been a no call, on Fall. Not to be selfish, but I'd hate to see my pick for winning it all gone already. To that end, good no call. Also good on Tennessee for pulling their collective heads out of their rears in OT after blowing a 25 point lead and keeping my Final 4 intact.

Zion will go 1st, in the draft. Reddick, Reddish or Morant, The NBA, is a perimeter League. Depends on need. Will the NBA give the Knicks Zion ??

Couple of things
UCF played their asses off. Great game. I picked Duke to win it all but was pulling for UCF.
Zion on the And 1 at the end of the game, should have been an offensive foul. Clearly leveled his defender by lowering the shoulder. Not so sure about the actual foul either.
The game was lost however when UFC was up 74-70 and had that 2 on 1 breakaway and screwed up the ally oop.
Great game but I didnt like seeing it end like that, with favorable Duke calls as normal.

That last call was the right call. That missed double dribble was atrocious. Anyone that hoops know that you cannot dribble again after that.
