Hey TEM, what happens if the Giants only pick one player from each school? That was what I was choosing, ie a tie. If I can’t do that then I choose Ohio St

Hey TEM, what happens if the Giants only pick one player from each school? That was what I was choosing, ie a tie. If I can’t do that then I choose Ohio St If it is one player from each school . who picks the tie schools all get points. In essence you get points for a tie if you pick one of the schools that are tied for the lead. You also need to chose more Defensive or Offensive player picked. Not position.

We posted a format to post your picks in.... c'mon fellahs, formatting matters when you're dropping picks into a spreadsheet for scoring.

It is one month away First off I would like to thank gee718 for helping me with the rules. This year I developed a spreadsheet that will automatically calculate the points at the time of the pick ( In real time) It was challenging to get it to work properly. A lot of head scratching . It has been tested and seems function properly to adhere the specified Mock draft rules. Each participant will be assigned a sheet configured with their Mock that will be viewable online . A link will be provided within the next few weeks. The point totals will automatically calculated without the participants intervention. Here are this year contest rules: ( for point totals) Rule 1: Correct player picked in right place and right position (Applies to rounds 1,2,3,6) (20 points)Rule 2 :Correct position :QB, WR, RB, OL, TE, DL, LB, DB, and ST ( Applies to all rounds ) (10 points)Rule 3: Correct player wrong round or draft position (Applies to all rounds ) (5 points)Rule 4: Correct pick in the first round wrong order (if 6=17 or 17=6) (10 points)Rule 5: Get both picks correct in the first round (20 points)Because we have a few multiple pick rounds and the later rounds are tougher to Mock . The reason for Rule 6 Rule 6: Correct pick in in correct draft order (25 points total) Incorrect pick in right draft round in a given round (20 points total) (Applies to rounds 4,5,7) Bonuses : Closest to the right time length wthout going over to complete 1st round (5 points) Will the Giants make a trade , yes/no (5 points) Most poisitions drafted by the Giants for Defense/ Offense (5 points) Most picks for Giants from a School (5 points)Extra bonus: (Trade) If you pick a player that is not selected with the Giants existing 12 picks and is selected with an acquired pick ( 5 points)Here are this year contest rules ( for participants): Here is the issue . Because of the constraints of the of the spreadsheet. I can clone sheets. It takes time to configure the sheets to pull the data from the master. With that said I will need all participants to at least say " I am in" before April 20,2019. So I can have all the sheets ready for the draft. No exceptions!!!!!! Do not make Multiple mocks . Edit you mock with colored fonts . So I am aware of the changes.
Also all Mocks must be submitted and finalized by 9:00PM EST April 24,2019 . At that point the Draft is set. The Mock format: R1 - Name (Position) R1 - Name (Position) R2 - Name (Position) R3 - Name (Position) R4 - Name (Position) R5 - Name (Position) R5 - Name (Position) R5 - Name (Position) R5 - Name (Position) R6 - Name (Position) R7 - Name (Position) R7 - Name (Position) First and Last name You can add the school if you want to. Accepted Draft positions are: QB, WR, RB, OL, TE, DL, LB, DB, and ST (special teams) Time of first round: hours:minutes( 0:00) Trade: (yes/no) Most positions drafted: (Defense/ Offense) Because there are 12 . A "tie" would be acceptable also Most Giants picks from a school: ( name of school) I will answer any questions I can . It was defined in the rules of the contest. One mock from each participant . That is it.

I have two different mocks in my head but I think it would make more sense to go defense in round 1. I just really need to have Drew Lock in my mock draft because I have a sneaky feeling that we will get a QB but we can get sure fire defensive talent instead of QB's that no one is certain about.
