With the possibility of a bunch of QBs going at the top of the first round next year, I expect some elite defensive talent to fall. Who should I be looking at?

Next year is a great offensive year. QBs, WRs and OL from what I hear.
That said, watch Chase Young DE from Ohio State and AJ Epenesa DE from Iowa. They should be solid pass rushers coming out.

Yep We could replace Odell or get our 10 year solution at OT Or do both (people forget a few good RTs make it to UFA every year and originally I was saying get the final pieces in the secondary via FA and build the front 7 in the draft....they kinda did it ass backwards,so with all the cap space we could get a primo RT and draft a young OT rounds 3-5 to take over for Soldier, and maybe a pass rusher and focus on a legit attempt to replace Odell next year so Jones has a full arsenal of weapons...though the loud minority dont want weapons and want to go back to 1970's ponderously plodding grampa football)

And trade Barkley for more draft picks to be used on linebackers and o linemen only and draft a 245 lb plodded back every year and run the fullback plunge offense...

“Historic” year for wrs, and ol. So, going on the precedent set in 2018 and 2019, Getty going for a pass rusher . I think logically, now, it’d be wise to use the cap space to get a good RT, 2 mid Level mikes, and a mid level safety. Then draft ol and a shiny toy for DJ on the outside. I’m coming around to the idea of repeating the snacks/apple/Vernon trades with Jenkins/Ellison/ogletree if it meant we could get extra day 2 picks to really knock out the line and get some weapons for 2020. That’s all gonna hinge on development from carter/ox/baker/love. So, we’ll see.

I see Jenkins being moved mid season unless we are legit in contention and it doesnt look like fool's gold(like 2004 when Eli took over at 5-4)

Yeah it’s tough to gauge all this in may, but it’s fun to try.
If we use our first 3 picks next spring and come away with just Jeudy and Walker at tackle from Stanford I think I’d do a backflip. I I have zero expectations of Getty trading 2 and 3 to get into the back of the first for a tackle. But one can dream.
Is the kid from UT, 6’5, can’t renember his name, worth keeping an eye on?
This is a thread about pass rushers, sorry.
Chase Young from osu and Curtis Weaver from Boise? Iowa? were the only young kids that jumped out in a big deep class last year.
Not really sure if we should be looking at true DEs now though. Maybe for rotation. Don’t know much about 3-4 lb rushers right now.

If they want to spend $$$ (and they'll have the cap)....they could target Clowney as their stud OLB/EDGE guy
