No news is probably good news. I agree . We may see a reduction or a rescind to the 4 games.

Shouldnt we have heard the appeal results by now? Maybe he fooled the NFL. Wouldn't be the first time .... Exactly how do fool lawyers? Wouldn't they will follow the paper trail, Interview the doctor. Do you think the fertility doctor would place his licence to practice medicine and reputation on the line and be untruthful?

I hear where you're coming from here. Isn't it possible, however, that he took fertility meds for the first two pregnancies as well, and he was just going through the same process for a third? It'd have been a different med, presumably, for the first two if he did indeed take one (otherwise that would have shown up in a drug test too). I think that is worth considering, as many people take fertility drugs for not one, but all of their pregnancies. Good point, and one I considered. Just doesn't seem likely here.
Most fertility doctors won't see you unless you have gone an extended period of failing to conceive naturally (he and his wife had a child the year after they were married).
His wife was also apparently out there on social media saying that their "Irish twins" were unplanned.
Also, any half-wit should know that if you are taking something to increase your fertility, that could have implications re: the NFL banned substances list. It's not like he was taking cough medicine ....
Ouch, didn't know about the "Irish twins" post. I guess I was just holding out hope that we'd have someone to play wideout week 1. Sucks.

you couldn’t sell water to a man dying of thirst in the desert. You are crazy. I could sell an ice pop to an Eskimo or a fake game worn jersey to an Eli fanatic. then you would wake up, scratch your behind and head to the bathroom to pee. How about warner’s? No question, you could sell that as substitute for toilet paper.

......thanks. I cant help but be cautiously optimistic about this delay. If they were just going to take the normal hard line, I would have thought the result of the appeal would have been sooner rather than later. Maybe they are checking his claims with his doctor?

Everything I've heard is the NFL doesnt care how or why you took it - if you took it you are suspended. So if the reason doesn't matter, why would they even check?

So if the reason doesn't matter, why would they even check? then why even have an appeal process if there is no "process"... if there is a appeal process there has to be some sort of investigation.

The appeals process is normally a check on the sample gathering, chain of custody of evidence, and other procedural matters. The only other issue might be the therapeutic use issue, which might be relevant here. Bottom line is I dont see why it is taking so long unless it is not as cut and dried as most. Obviously I could be wrong.

If his story plays the way his carefully worded statement read, I don't think he'd want too many people looking too closely at it.
