Looking forward to seeing what the Orange can do to follow up on last season. Syracuse is back on the map. I'm hoping that they can stay on it.

Maybe one day my Canes will be relevant again. In the meantime it's going to be fun watching the NFL factories for players we need next year probably (WR,OT,LB,Edge rush),like Oklahoma,Alabama,Ohio state, Wisconsin and Iowa for O line... Will be also fun watching the probable 2020 qb class, see who sneaks into the discussion (Ehlenger,Costello,Milton,Easton, hell and maybe Hurd in Oklahoma) And see who's luster fades (the big 3 of Fromm,Tua and Herbert)

We dont need a QB anymore. I'm less interested in watching them. If Fromm looks legit again this season I might lose it. I guess depending on what DJ looks like.

Well worse case scenario and we backslide ( losing key players on both lines would do this )into the top.7 of the draft and we are in prime trade back position

That would be a very Gettleman type move ,especially the way he has a proven track record for being able to find o line talent in the mid rounds (would be fun watching the usual suspects who hate the foward pass or a prolific modern offense bich about taking. Wr that early)

Yeah me and you agree here that you need a dynamic playmaker and /or formation matchup nightmare(12 formation with 2 legit playmakers S TE)to open up everything else (contrary to the loud prehistoric minority that will insist the Giants never won with good recievers and we need to go back to the ponderous prehistoric style of winning games 6-3) With that said let's see how the year plays out,Jeudy would be incredible with us but let's give Slayton a chance to at least prove he can be good enough to force teams into a the 2 deep zone that our other stuff would flourish in).. Of course if he is there when we pick Gettleman will pounce

Texas is legit They have a dark horse qb that had his coming out party in the Sugar Bowl that could be in play for top pick in the 2020 draft or even the Heisman (Sam Erlinger)

Wow And their young guy that was supposed to replace Renfrow is out for the year Higgins could be in play for us next year But yeah its beginning to look like Clemson and Alabama in the National Championship game the next 2 years (kinda like it was always Yankees vs Dodgers in the World Series it seemed )

Well, that was a great game.
As usual, Florida (an SEC team) looks overrated to start the year at #8. They have some great pass rushers but that Miami OL was awful. Miami's rookie QB didnt quite look ready. Florida's offense looks bad too though. Not sure Franks is the answer. And their defense couldnt stop with the pass interference at the end. They got extremely lucky.
Good exciting game though. Wish Miami got the final TD however.

Living in Tampa I have grown to despise the Gators as their fanbase has a level of obnoxia only rivaled by the Luckeyes... I had to deal with Tebowbania down here and the fire and brimstone level of triggered these Tebow twats would unleash when I correctly predicted he would suck in the NFL

4 Alabama players suspended for PART of Duke game. Not that it matters... No. 2 Alabama will play Duke on Saturday afternoon in Atlanta, but four of its top players will not see action for at least a portion of the game. Junior running backs Najee Harris and Brian Robinson will be serving suspensions for the first half against the Blue Devils after missing a team function, according to 247Sports. The report also notes that linebacker Terrell Lewis will serve a punishment for the same reason. Furthermore, BamaInsider reports that wide receiver DeVonta Smith will also be suspended, though it does not state a length of time. www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/four-top-alabama-players-including-najee-harris-suspended-for-at-least-part-of-opener-per-report/
