I'm not really sure what youre insinuating. Obviously, the XFL contracts are not going to be as lucrative. But, kids coming out of college, who maybe are not NFL talents have an opportunity to play for 50k - 250k plus bonuses. Are you expecting a startup to drop $30mm/yr contracts on franchise QBs? Not sure where that money would come from. I never said a word about how much they're paying their entertainers . I think anything that Vince McMahon does is a circus and a joke. well, he IS a carney...so....

I really hope Vince learned some lessons from last time. I will say this though. Up to about 5 years ago I was a huge wrestling fan and one of the reasons I stopped watching the product was because Vince is really hardheaded and when he gets set in his ways he doesn’t like change

why would he want that? He got blamed for the "broken offense" when it was that Eli was on the decline. You think he's that sensitive about the 5 guys on this forum who said that?

but no fair catches and 2, yes 2 forward passes in one play.....it might do better than the AAFL did.... That was in the first incarnation wasn’t it? Have they come out and say it will be the same way? If not who is to say they haven’t learned from their mistakes from the last time? The XFL was crap and the WWE is crap nowadays (used to be a huge wrestling fan) but who knows? The XFL 2.0 will be treated as a legitimate football league and be as safe as possible. It won't be extreme and raunchy like the 2001 version. Oliver Luck is the commissioner.

Players getting a paycheck makes it professional...not our (likely accurate) assumption that its going to be a subpar product. AAF had a good on field product, just no money or fans.

By that logic anything Hollywood does id a circus and a joke. Anything the UFC does is a joke.

I’ll catch a big NXT show once in a while because they still put on a good show. I had high hopes for AEW but I recently watched the battle royal the kicked off their double or nothing show and wasn’t thrilled with it. I mean I hit play on the video and before the bell even rang I was shaking my head because there was a guy with no legs going to be in the match.
