I hope someone shows the all-22 - I really want to know what is going on off-screen. A lot of passes were thrown short, right away, so I wonder if by design or Eli just not letting a play develop. That said, the defense is really the problem here.
That said x2, Dallas does have a very good team this year and we, at best, are still coming together.

Eli has sent quite a few of our WR’s to long term IR. That’s not debatable. He knew that the play was toast why set him up like that. yeah...not remotely what happened there let's crawl inside Eli's head on the "toast" play
just manufacture anything there...good job
This defense is trash and Eli has to be carried by good players not the other way around. Maybe your still living in 2011 open your eyes and stop being another blind homer we leave that for Dallas fans.

How people can't watch this game and see the offense is a problem as well is beyond me. Eli isn't going to get it done. These dink and dunks are so predictable and the playcalling is awful. Get Jones out there and do whatever tf can be done to improve the defense. Ballentine at CB can't be worse than Hamilton and Baker tonight. Connelly has to be better than Tae Davis. Rotate whoever the hell at edge until someone shows ANYTHING The whole team is the problem, offense, defense, special teams, coaching staff, etc. Wowie Zowie!!! The towel boys had a nice game though.

This is why it was a mistake to trade our elite WR. It demanded both respect from opposing defenses to respect the run and the pass. There's nothing to fear about our noname WR's. yet somehow we were poor to mediocre with him and the offense did well when he disappeared last season so there's that
I hope Gettleman uses those garbage time stats this year like he did last year. Gettleman after this season is over: “Well we were 6-10 because the defense was bad not because of Eli and he put up big numbers without Odell. “Reporter:” Eli seemed to pad his numbers when the games were already decided “ Gettleman: “Eli has year’s left I”

The defense, or rather their lack of doing anything...is the reason this game was lost. The offense showed some good signs, and some rust.
That said, Jones should have seen the ball in the 4th.
Complete RUBBISH!Unless 10 points on offense is entirely acceptable to you. It's NOT acceptable to me.. or most any OC in the business. oh Christ, here we go again...blaming the O for the defense's issues no doubt the D was the primary reason for this loss, it was invisible
The offense will improve.

I don't think it's time to panic yet. If we're 0-3 after the next two games then yes.

We need to sign someone on defense badly. Brandon Marshall is just sitting there.

Appeals to a mythical deity will not validate your position. Your statement that 'The offense will improve' is wishful thinking as well. Obviously the team is lacking in both phases of the game.. which one will improve first is anyone's guess.

Our D should be named Bettcher's Beleaguered. Betch should get a job in a Swiss cheese factory. He's great at making things that are full of holes.

Some of you aren’t giving the cowboys enough credit. With that said the Giants suck. They're beating a bad team. They deserve a golf clap but the media will put them in the Super Bowl. They'll probably find a way to fail, but they do have a lot going for them.

Can we all agree that Shurmur is not a good head coach. Enough of the excuses, he belongs calling plays on offense not running the team. I'm not ready to go there yet.

I’m not either but that’s only out of principal. It’s geberally bad to make coaching changes. But I have been frustrated with Shurmur most of his tenure. It’s hard to know what is Eli and what is Shurmur so basically I’m just frustrated with both at the same level. The checkdown offence has to STOP

Obviously the team is lacking in both phases of the game.. which one will improve first is anyone's guess. The Giants were one of many teams to have sluggish offenses today, part of Week 1. There were some plays that were reminders of past issues, but also multiple positives (OLine play, Barkley and running game in general, EE).
If we sit 0-4 going into Week 5, it's time to sit Eli for good. In the meantime, go into each week and go for the W and play Jones where it makes sense.

Takeaways that I saw this game
-OL was better. Didn't allow much pressure and created some nice holes in the run game.
-Antonio Hamilton is horrible. Couldn't cover and even worse trying to tackle. Hope to never see him on the field again
-Baker got a welcome to the NFL. He played really poorly. Was getting torched, but you hope that it's something he learns from. He looked slow out there.
-Saquon is a beast. We need to use him more and stop using him as a decoy. Not giving him the ball on a short 3rd and 2 and then the 4th and 1 at least once is inexcusable.
-Tae Davis was pretty rough out there. Connelly came in and had some really nice moments. Shouldn't be long before he's starting alongside Olgetree (who I personally do not like at all either)
-Pass rush was nonexistent. Yes, Dallas has an incredible OL, but this is not a good look. I swear the only time Dak got hit on the play Golden jumped offside.
-Engram and Shepard looked good and should be good weapons going forward.
-Fowler and Latimer had nice moments at WR as well.
-Offense put no pressure on that Dallas D other than rare occurrences. Rarely looked downfield and checked almost everything down.
-Peppers and Bethea looked horrible. Bethea specifically was horrible. Didn't even look like he was trying on half the plays
Really rough game. If this is any indication on what is to come then this will be a very long season and will be another year with a top 5 or top 10 pick. 3 games upcoming vs teams that you'd think would be "winnable".. these guys should be embarrassed watching film on this one

Next week’s loss to Buffalo will be the last start of the Eli era. Week 3 the Littlr Giants begin developing to be a real NFL team.

As far as my opinion, it's going to be a blow out with Dallas scoring at will! Our defense hopefully will Improve with each game this year, but this is the first game in Dallas! WOW, I was right on the money! Looks like Jones is going to get his chance much earlier then I thought. Our Coach and GM can't wait to start the new era with Jones. Going to be a longggggggggg season and Jones is going to be the only interesting part of it!

Saquon Barkley- 11 carries. That basically states it all about the miserable play calling on Offense; particularly not using him to run two straight times when for some reason in 3rd quarter when Coach Shurmer was "4 downs or bust" mentality when we were at Goal Line.
Defense- Non-existant.
