So..going by the presser and first impression of Judge He is stressing playing physical, fast, dominating the LOS..and be highly versatile
I'm going to help him build a team that can do this.
Free agency
Cuts Martin Ellison Ogletree
Soldier (this is either a June first cut or trade...see below)
Resign/extend William's Golden Tomlinson Core(there is no way in hell Judge let's this guy walk..he probably gets a 4 year deal with a special teams coach running the team
FA signings Conklin Fowler Byron Jones (again ...with Judge..considering he can play outside Corner, slot and FS . What can you do well..legit would be surprised if he is the number 1 target )
5: R1P5 OT ANDREW THOMAS GEORGIA
The first 3 picks were Young,Brown,Okudah..Burrow fell to me..
With the signing of Conklin I decided to bite the bullet and let Soldier go
18: R1P18 C TYLER BIADASZ
Physical, tough, dominate the LOS.. This is now a young athletic dominant O line Want to know how the Rams turned it around in one year... Thos is how WISCONSIN
36: R2P4 WR JALEN REAGOR TCU
Modern NFL offense Stress the defense at every inch of the field, have speed all over the place
5 of the 8 teams in the playoffs also were top 10 in attempted passes air yards 5 of the top 6 running teams also were in the top 10 in air yards..
Coincidence, nope Frighten teams out of the box with dynamic speed outside, proceed to kick teams in the nuts till they are bleeding out their mouths Rams last year vs Cowboys in the divisional round was the perfect prototype..
Reagor,Slayton,Engram and Smith out of the 12...go ahead, stack the box with an improved O line...
56: R2P24 RB CLYDE EDWARDS-HELAIRE LSU
If they want to go run heavy, get a back with similar skill sets to Barkley, especially in the passing game.. He is a young Bradshaw before injuries took away his home run speed.. Fits a modern offense perfectly
91: R3P27 LB PATRICK QUEEN LSU
Eff Simmons....same kind of player that actually plays linebacker..get him in the rotation at the 2and level
116: R4P13 OT COLE VAN LANEN WISCONSIN
Very versatile o lineman that for the next 2 years along with Gates provides nice depth at all positions and can eventually take over for Zeitler (in 2021 if they choose) Oh and a tough ****head.
150: R5P4 S JULIAN BLACKMON UTAH
Safety help from a top defense in the country
157: R5P11 WR ANTONIO GIBSON MEMPHIS
After hearing Judge this is a perfect all around athletic football playmaker Can play in the backfield as a RB,slot,outside...big bodied guy that is smooth running patterns...incredible with the ball in his hands.. One of my major sleepers
183: R6P4 LB DAVID WOODWARD UTAH STATE
BPA
218: R7P4 EDGE CHAUNCEY RIVERS MISSISSIPPI STATE

I used Matt Miller’s rankings for this one and it was weird because guys I was normally targeting late were going much earlier than normal and guys I normally looked for in the middle rounds were there later than I expected. Overall I like the haul. Omar Bayless is a really interesting WR I think. He isn’t on most of the rankings lists that I’ve seen so I figured I’d pick him in the 7th. Probably would have gone elsewhere with the Gandy-Golden pick if I knew Bayless was on there. Side note, it was weird to see him have Antonio Gibson listed as a RB. Sure he carries the ball a good amount but he’s a WR and overall offensive weapon

CUT Name Janoris Jenkins Alec Ogletree Rhett Ellison Kareem Martin Up to 94 million with the cap space...gotta spend some of it. Still want a 3-4? Clowney is the guy as the stand up get the QB LB. Williams gone? Want a guy who gets even more pressure on the QB as a 3-4 DE? Chris Jones from the Chiefs. Hell, you can sign him up with Williams and Clowney. SIGNED PLAYERS Name Position Cap Hit Markus Golden EDGE 4,500,000 Leonard Williams DL 8,400,000 Deone Bucannon LB 1,000,000 Jadeveon Clowney EDGE 15,400,000 Joe Schobert LB 4,200,000 Jack Conklin OT 8,400,000 DJ Humphries from AZ is IMHO the best option at tackle...but he's on the verge of being one of the best in the NFL...he's going to be a LT. Still, one year does not make the player...speaking of great contract years...best free safety in the NFL? Watch some Justin Simmons...PFF best safety, and after you watch some video, Denver has a good one. He should be signed or franchised by Elway...if he has not already been signed long term. I liked/loved Conklin coming out. believe Kase and I debated the Conklin rise vs Decker as the Giants OT pick...fun stuff (believe he won this debate as Decker is a top ten LT for the Lions ). Jack has had a few injuries, and an ACL...when he's healthy he's a vintage right tackle. GL has sold me on this free agent signing...I'll take the chance, and draft Van Lanen from the Badgers, for a just in case back up RT insurance who could be the best run blocking tackle in the draft. Trade back draft 6: R1P16 OT JEDRICK WILLS ALABAMA 19: R1P19 WR TEE HIGGINS CLEMSON 42: R2P10 C TYLER BIADASZ WISCONSIN 98: R3P34 LB ZACK BAUN WISCONSIN 107: R4P4 RB CLYDE EDWARDS-HELAIRE LSU 113: R4P10 LB TROY DYE OREGON 114: R4P11 S BRANDON JONES TEXAS 136: R4P33 WR DENZEL MIMS BAYLOR 145: R4P42 TE LUKE FARRELL OHIO STATE 150: R5P4 OT COLE VAN LANEN WISCONSIN 183: R6P4 DL BRAVVION ROY BAYLOR 218: R7P4 LB MALIK HARRISON OHIO STATE 238: R7P24 CB ESSANG BASSEY WAKE FOREST 247: R7P33 S JULIAN BLACKMON UTAH

Might be one of my favorite drafts. Stud LT that would help protect Jones for the next decade in the first round. Second round get a very talented edge rusher who I honestly think has as high a ceiling outside of Chase Young. Great athleticism and really solid bend around the edge. 3rd round snagging a new school style LB who is cut from the Telvin Smith type of cloth. If you look around the teams in the playoffs almost every team has a ton of athleticism at LB. could play ILB with Connelly when they are in a 3-4 and could be a weak side OLB when in a 4-3. Getting an upgrade at center in round 4 which is much needed. Gibson in round 5 would be a great pick. Can carry the ball, tough as hell to bring down after the catch, he just makes plays. J.R Reed is a safety with a lot of experience and playing against high levels of competition throughout college. Could be very solid depth and a good STs guy early on. Patrick Taylor in the 7th round would be a really nice compliment to Barkley. He’s a no nonsense guy who gets north and south quickly and runs very hard. I really like his game. Wilcox is a talented TE who could be a really good value pick. Highsmith is a guy I like late for depth at edge.
Lots of athleticism at positions of need. I think this would be a really good draft

The never ran it when I watched them I guess or I missed the play. That would be an interesting wrinkle. I think he is someone who could see a ton of snaps early on, and not necessarily taking tons of snaps away from Slayton, Shepard, Tate, and Barkley. He could give each of them a couple plays off where they all play a lot, but get some breaks so they stay pretty fresh. He’s someone you just have to get the ball in their hands. Would love to see him used similar to Deebo Samuel in SF

I’d absolutely love this draft. Franchise LT that would be nearly impossible to pass on if available. Big, talented WR in the second that has some Mike Evans in his game. More than just a big jump ball type of WR. Getting an edge guy who has good explosiveness and bend on the edge. Versatile LB who can fly all around the field and make plays. Explosive RB who would be an excellent compliment to Barkley. Solid center prospect and we could desperately use a new C. Solid CB who would be added to the young core at the position. Another solid OL prospect with a lot of experience. He’d be a good depth guy for the team. Quick edge guy who needs to add some weight, but would be a solid rotational player early

Some more accept every trade and see what's down below deck...well, would you not know it, Simmons at 5 slipped to 18. Is there a better linebacker at shedding blocks this year? A more athletic linebacker, with incredible length and quickness...and yes, instincts? I think not. All day at 18. How about Bryce Hall at 62? Jake Hanson at 238? Are they serious? 18: R1P18 LB ISAIAH SIMMONS CLEMSON 30: R1P30 OT ISAIAH WILSON GEORGIA 39: R2P7 OT AUSTIN JACKSON USC 41: R2P9 C TYLER BIADASZ WISCONSIN 62: R2P30 CB BRYCE HALL VIRGINIA 74: R3P10 LB TROY DYE OREGON 94: R3P30 RB ZACK MOSS UTAH 98: R3P34 WR DENZEL MIMS BAYLOR 129: R4P26 LB JACOB PHILLIPS LSU 138: R4P35 TE COLBY PARKINSON STANFORD 139: R4P36 WR K.J. Well, the Raiders offered up the 12 and 19 picks, plus a 3rd rounder for the 4. Perfect scenario as Willis and Simmons were available. If Willis can play LT, we have a 10 year starter on the blinder...if not, a pro bowl right tackle. Many scouts are suggesting he can go left.... 12: R1P12 OT JEDRICK WILLS ALABAMA 19: R1P19 LB ISAIAH SIMMONS CLEMSON 43: R2P11 S XAIVER MCKINNEY ALABAMA More of a strong safety, but can play free safety if need be. You dont want him single high, but he can cover a tight end. 68: R3P4 RB CLYDE EDWARDS-HELAIRE LSU 79: R3P15 C NICK HARRIS WASHINGTON I'm growing on this guy as I now expand my searching. He reminds me of a guy I wanted badly a few years back, Cody Whitehair. Harris is also a zone blocking expert, and covers gaps as well as any center. Can play guard, and slides smooth. You don't want him single up against a nose, but when we are running Barkley and need a correct seal, he is the guy who will get it done. 98: R3P34 LB TROY DYE OREGON Needs a few pounds, but a great sideline to sideline backer. 102: R3P38 WR TYLER JOHNSON MINNESOTA 107: R4P4 TE ADAM TRAUTMAN DAYTON This kid might be the best tight end in this years draft. He is RAW, but has the basketball skills and size...expect him to rise quite a bit after the combine. He high points the ball better than any other tight end in this class... 121: R4P18 CB LAVERT HILL MICHIGAN Speedy smaller corner...great ball skills. Better than Bassay as a tackler...a nickel prospect. 132: R4P29 OT HAKEEM ADENIJI KANSAS Another player growing on me. He needs to get stronger, but he rarely gets beat...has all the tools. 150: R5P4 CB LEVONTA TAYLOR FLORIDA STATE The BEST corner prospect entering college...pure 5 star recruit. His size is the concern...and it's a major. Abilities? No issues. 183: R6P4 WR COLLIN JOHNSON TEXAS This kid will rise...nice route running for such a large guy. 218: R7P4 OT JACK DRISCOLL AUBURN Does not get beat...technique is horrible...but again, does not get beat. 238: R7P24 DL KHALIL DAVIS NEBRASKA Could be a 3 tech pass rush specialist 247: R7P33 RB REGGIE CORBIN ILLINOIS LOVE this tiny running back... Fan of this one too. We have some good beef up front on defense, just need to fill out the LB roles. Also, how can I turn down Moss in the 6th?
Fatten up the OL as well with Thomas, Biadasz to be starters at RT and C, and Onwenu as backup depth at G. Big boy.

So now that we have an idea what the coaching staff and overall philosophy of the team is going to be.and watching the Championship games..
1.my personal takeaway from both of the Super Bowl combatants.. Speed ...especially on offense, wins in the NFL The 2 teams with the most speed in the NFL on offense (saw this next gen stat)are playing in Miami next week.It forces teams to have to lighten the box(KC)or have a high octane offense 90% on the ground (49ers) Big,slow,plodding..you can bully the ok teams..but if you have to score in bunches and get down its over.. 2.win at the LOS,you win the game...
So...
Free agency I resigned Williams and Golden, extended Tomlinson...the d line is intact at least the next 4 years and will only get better.. Golden is a nice player behind this line.
I signed Byron Jones (I know ,no ints on 2 years, but we get a good dynamic versatile player that can play outside corner, slot or FS..the back end is much better.
Also signed Jack Conklin..want at least one spot on the O line solved before the draft.
Young,Thomas and Wirfs went in front of me..had a bunch of players targeted between 10- and 20 so took this trade(in reality I get a ****ton more picks for Burrow, who the Raiders took)
12: R1P12 EDGE K'LAVON CHAISSON LSU
Jeudy,Lamb and Simmons were also here...went with the edge guy that has Danille Hunter upside in a smaller frame..get him opposite Golden behind our D line and this gets better fast.
19: R1P19 C TYLER BIADASZ WISCONSIN
Again For the noobs and those in the back...its not too early for a C when you have the chance for a perennial pro bowler that will be an instant major upgrade inside.. All your a gap zone/RPO runs go here...
43: R2P11 LB PATRICK QUEEN LSU
This is where k usually take Prince....until I found out he has stubby arms.. If you want a player than bec0mes a really good starting guard day 1 take him here.. We have 2 really good ones. Instead I take a highly athletic tackling machine that is great in coverage
50: R2P18 WR JALEN REAGOR TCU
Speed.killer, especially under 4.30 speed.. This is our Tyreek Hill
98: R3P34 OT LUCAS NIANG TCU
Future starter at LT in 2021
115: R4P12 S KVON WALLACE CLEMSON
BPA..sound safety
135: R4P32 WR DENZEL MIMS BAYLOR
This is where I had targeted a big bodied WR...I got the unicorn of the bunch that is also a dynamic deep threat
150: R5P4 TE COLBY PARKINSON STANFORD
Prototypical NFL TE from a TE factory Will pair great with his former teamate
183: R6P4 G JON RUNYAN MICHIGAN
Let's start grooming Zeitler's replacement here
218: R7P4 CB TROY PRIDE JR. NOTRE DAME 238: R7P24 LB MALIK HARRISON OHIO STATE
Why is this guy still here in the 7the? Well..you can never have too many linebackers
247: R7P33 QB STEVEN MONTEZ COLORADO TEAM DRAFT ASSESSMENT EDGE K'LAVON CHAISSON LSU OT LUCAS NIANG TCU CB TROY PRIDE JR. Reagor would be sick with this offense My drafts are usually OL heavy and usually OL heavy in the early rounds, but I wanted to see how things panned out if we DIDNT go OL in the 1st 2 rounds. Honestly, Niang was a beast when he was healthy, but he got hurt at the end of the year so I imagine his stock will fall a little bit, but dude NEVER GOT BEAT IN COLLEGE. I cant believe it, but its true, somehow he never got beat. Driscoll is a lineman with alot of potential and could wind up being a starting RT earlier than later, he's definitely not the best, but I'd say he's in the upper half of the draft class
