This is the exact same team as last year. The reason we won 5 games was because we won 4 of them vs backup QBs.

Great news is...Miami exists in the league. So we're only the second worst team in the league. You have no idea how hilarious it's gotten down here.

Eli will go to the bench when they are out of it but maybe sooner, really what is the difference at this point in letting the kid get some mental reps for a few more games. This point makes no sense. I'm 100 percent convinced Daniel Jones gives the Giants a better chance to win. And in a season that's only 2 weeks old, I'd much rather watch that. I am on the same page I think we have seen some young defenders grow in these first 2 games, it would be good to see Jones get going but there is still a lot of time, I want to see all of our young kids get chances I'm pissed because Love nor Ballentine are not getting time, think Baker started to compete saw Lawrence with a few pressures Xman had a halfsack Carter Had 1 OR 1.5. I wanna see Jones get his shot.

Rookie mistake on ST. This team has to get experience and some more talent. But Shurmer won’t play Hones next week because that will send a message that he is giving up on the season. It’s a catch 22. I don't think it would necessarily send that message. I would take it as "Let's try to win with the kid." I understand what you're saying, rookie QBs need time to develop. But I'm an optimist. Might be unrealistic, but if the Giants announce that DJ is starting next week, I'd set my hopes high. 10-6. Playoff run!

I agree...when's the last time we played a good game on both sides of the ball?...I've accepted the fact that we will suck for a while during this rebuild so that's why I've kept my expectations low....the good news is that Getty and Shurmur will get to see Daniel Jones, thier QB play soon...

Look I'm not blaming Eli for this loss, God knows there is enough blame to go around and it can be spread in several directions...but I'm tired of watching the offense with Eli. I'm just tired of it.
I'm not expecting Jones to be a savior but sometimes a change like that breathes life into an offense. It's hard to watch this offense look the same week after week, blow scoring chances, turn the ball over, etc.
Good god it's time for a change...what the hell are we waiting for? This team isn't going anywhere, give DJ the reins and let's see what he can do. My God it's time....

Laughable performance from Eli and the offense. 14 whopping points!!! Especially with two sweet set-ups (by INT and Punt return)

What really scares me about this team is I could see a 2-14, 3-13 season now as a very realistic possibility. Teams that have that bad of a season are usually not just teams that are devoid of top tier talent, they are typically teams that are also not well coached.
I know we don't have a great roster, I get it. But we still have guys that can and at times are making plays. SQB can make plays. EE can make plays. Hell even TJ Jones has shown he can make plays. Core even made some plays today as did Bennie Fowler. I just see things on both sides of the ball that make me wonder and scratch my head. Fundamental things and sometimes just strange play calling.
Players were once again out of position on defense. Saquan, who caught what nearly 100 passes last year, had 3 receptions and still not enough touches. I don't know man I am not ready to say that our coaches are bad but I do think at times they are coaching poorly...am I wrong?
If I am please tell me.

Eh. Practice squad receivers against the number one pass defense. What did we expect? Eli isn't the worst. Bottom ten. Sure Bottom 10 of backup QBs

The Giants' defense still can't stop a runny nose. And the offense acts like Pennywise is hiding in the endzone ready to steal their souls so they avoid it as much as possible.
A few more losses like these last two and we'll probably see Jones starting before the bye week, which isn't a bad thing. The Giants may have hoped that Eli could play out his last year as the starter, but reality may end up crushing that fantasy.

Bingo, this is a very young roster they haven't even reached football adult hood and they are gonna be younger next year, think Shurmur is gonna get next year unless they quit on him, once they get the receivers back they will compete I believe they would have today at full strength, all that said this roster with or without Shurmur is gonna get a chance to grow and mature.

Worst team in NFC
Jones time is now
Eli’s time has been and is over
Every game we play until Jones takes over is a waste of our time.
