This is an amazing interview of Dave Brown by Rich Eisen.
Some very interesting stories, plus the fact that he is in contact with Daniel Jones etc.

Well spoken guy that Dave Brown. Couldn’t throw a football worth a damn but he seems like a nice guy. You forget he played in the NFL for 10 years.

I had never heard the story about how the Giants maneuvered to draft him.

Yeah I saw this earlier today. Interesting interview. I was floored by the fact Bellichick wanted him for the Browns but somehow got out manuevered by the Giants. The other thing that blew me away was Spurrier worked with him at Duke and gave him green light to change plays and Reeves was the opposite. He claims the Giants had a set way to run the offense and that was that. Who knows if he ended up with Bill B how things would have turned out but I doubt he would have succeeded anyway. So much of this is fate though. You have to get drafted to the team that’s the right fit...

I was not too young...I suffered through the Dave Brown, Kent Graham and Danny Kanell years...lets hope that DJ is the real deal so we don't have to suffer through another QB hell...I may be wrong but I have a better feeling about DJ than I do about Shurmur...it's looking more and more that Shurmur is another coordinator that is not HC material ....

Ah good ol' #27...Is it just me or did Rodney look like he was running in sand but got to where he needed to go? That man was such a big back

That man was such a big back One of my favorite Giants. If you think about it, what Giant fan didn’t like Hampton? He played on some bad Giant offenses where he was the offense. 5 straight years of 1,000 yards. And yeah he was a big back, but had great vision and was a natural runner. He should be in the ring of honor. He was a great Giant.
