Mookie Betts trade talks back on. Latest is the Padres. I still think the Red Sox are expecting to get back too much for a trade to go through though.

Dodgers trying to bail out the Red Sox again, somewhat.
Talks of a Price/Betts trade to Dodgers intensifying.

Aaron Boone absolutely nailed his Super Bowl 2020 prediction If Aaron Boone ever loses his touch as a manager, he may have a future job in sports betting. The Yankees bench boss sent out a tweet at 6:03 p.m. Sunday night saying he was “goin [with] the Chiefs 31-20,” echoing the prediction he made in The Post on Saturday. A little after four hours later, Kansas City wrapped up a 31-20 win over the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl 2020. nypost.com/2020/02/02/aaron-boone-absolutely-nailed-his-super-bowl-2020-prediction/

And the dumb Dodgers come calling again, but not for Carl Crawford this time:
I will be very happy Betts is out of Boston.

They still haven't smoked out the assclown who didnt vote for Jeter on his HOF ballot, but its getting close. Lone Jeter Hall voter holdout still unknown In total, 314 of the 397 voters (79.1 percent) for the 2020 Hall of Fame class have made their ballots public. Jeter and Larry Walker were the only two candidates to receive the 75 percent of the vote required for enshrinement. bbwaa.com/20-hof-ballots/Lets hope they smoke out whoever didnt vote by all going public (while the one who didnt vote him in doesnt).

What MLB found when it investigated Chris Young, the Yankees and Red Sox during Apple Watch scandal Boston's sign stealing happened before Alex Cora arrived When Major League Baseball investigated the Yankees and Red Sox for electronic sign stealing in 2017, the league interviewed outfielder Chris Young multiple times. According to two people briefed on those interviews, MLB concluded that Young and the Red Sox were using Apple Watches to convey sequences during games that year -- and that there were no credible allegations about the Yankees doing the same when Young and Carlos Beltran were on the team. It's important to note that before commissioner Rob Manfred warned teams about electronic sign stealing in a memo issued on Sept. 15, 2017, these behaviors were not explicitly illegal. Young is not at risk for any discipline. www.sny.tv/yankees/news/what-mlb-found-when-it-investigated-chris-young-the-yankees-and-red-sox-during-apple-watch-scandal/312642936

And just like that
Betts and Price traded in 3 way trade with Dodgers. Twins also involved.
As of now, Betts and Price and $45m to Dodgers, Verdugo to Red Sox, Dustin May to Twins.
Still on going

Wow. Verdugo seems like a nice piece of work... Dodgers After Dark: The Sexual Assaults MLB Never Investigated, A Team's Culture Unexamined What she ultimately experienced was a twisted night of physical, verbal and sexual abuse. And, once she made her story known, she was subjected to more trauma. Dodgers minor league players Alex Verdugo, James Baldwin and Julio Urias, were preparing for the regular season with the Dodgers at Camelback Ranch, the team’s spring training facility. Verdugo and Baldwin partied with the women at a Hampton Inn near the stadium, including the one who was underage. Nick Francona, then assistant of player development for the Dodgers, said Urias was present earlier, but wasn’t included in discussions about the incident. highheelsonthefield.typepad.com/all_heels_on_deck/2019/02/dodgers-after-dark-the-sexual-assaults-mlb-never-investigated-a-teams-culture-unexamined.htmlAnd on top of that: Sounds like the opposite of Mookie.

The sox just traded the 10th greatest player in MLB history in regards to WAR in the prime of his career. That is almost equivalent to the Angels trading Mike Trout. Lmfao

The Red Sox are getting obliterated by the press today and I am loving every single second. The Red Sox are still paying a big portion of their salaries. When did it become OK to throw in a superstar player into a salary dump type of trade. I know MH has to be pissed at right now 😂😂😂😂

When did it become OK to throw in a superstar player into a salary dump type of trade. I know MH has to be pissed at right now 😂😂😂😂 It would have been different if they got back super star prospects in return. Like Betts for 4-5 promising prospects. Verdugo is sounding more and more like a talented head case who doesnt always answer the bell, and has injury concerns to his back. The pitcher they got back was the 86th prospect on MLB but has had TJ surgery in 2017 and has had shoulder issues. He is a flamethrower who can throw 100+. They are saying if he does make it it would be as a relief pitcher. Not exactly what you want for a superstar future HOFer in his prime at 27. To put it in perspective, Chapman, a closer, for half a year, got the Yankees Gleyber Torres, Adam Warren, Billy McKinney and Rashad Crawford. Torres and Warren already made impacts in MLB and McKinney is playing now in Toronto.

[br "It’s been 100 seasons since the Red Sox sold their best player in such a transparent cash grab. If there’s any justice, they’ll have another 86 years to regret it." That quote made me spill my drink at my desk.
