Battle of NY
Rivalry: Giants have a 8-5 record against the Jets, while the Jets won the last game back in 2015.
Injuries: Engram, Halapio, Shepard, and Remmers are out. For the Jets: Mosley is out.
Sam Beal: Makes his debut.
Leonard Williams: According to the Jets OC, they will have to change up some of their calls at the line of scrimmage. “He’s a really smart player,” Loggains said. “Not only is he a really good player, but he’s really intelligent and knows some of the things we did cadence-wise or code-word-wise and we’re going to have to look into that.”

The fans are the true winners. Not very often do two teams with a combined record of 3-14 play against one another. Remember this date folks, inept at its finest..

Giants win but its a close game. Plenty of penalties, turnovers, and sloppy play on both teams. Shurmur's job is safe for now, meanwhile Gase could be on the way out. Giants fans breath a false sigh of relief.

We should win in a laughter but.......

Jones should have a better game and hopefully SQB as well. LeVeon Bell might actually gain 100 yds rushing in a game for the first time this season.
The Jets ineptitude looks a whole lot worse than ours. But they beat the Cowboys on this field we didn't.
I do think the Giants are better than the Jets and should win. If we win we'll pick in the draft around 8th if we lose we drop to 4th or 5th. Still think were going to win 3 more games (Jets, Miami, Skins). It's just that these 3 are worse dumpster fires than us.

I just want to see better play from Jones, and hopefully no turnovers.
I want to see what Beal looks like finally. Can he stay healthy?
I want to see some exotic blitzes to get to Darnold.

I never root against the Giants.
But IMO the best thing that could happen tomorrow is that the jets blow out (and even shut out) the Giants.
It could be the 21st century version of "The Fumble".

Why not 3 step drops for Jones?...Why don they do that?
Jones needs to have a clean game. Picks and no fumbles. When he does have time he needs to see hos 2nd and 3rd reads. He missed a couple of open guys last week.

He missed a couple of open guys last week. I'm not sure he is ready for the quick reads and passes. The big knock on him right now, besides the TOs is he holds the ball too long disecting the defense. Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm not sure he is seeing it quick enough right now. That, plus our WRs not getting the separation needed. Personally, I thought the same thing. With our OL, he should just be hitting quick routes. 3 steps back and fire.

umm 2012 to present day would beg to differ. Both organizations have been awful in recent years.

For those interested in such things; Saquon's dad will be sporting a Jets jersey on Sunday, and no I don't know if he's aware red is not a Jets color.
Way to support your son, dad.

IMO,........I think it's the speed of the game .He will learn eventually but I believe he is having a hard time adjusting to the speed of the NFL game, ............specially coming from Duke. he certainly deserves all the cliche' rookie excuses for now. I am not saying that in a wise ass way either. Just want to see a steady progression of improvement. Of course we all want that.

I believe its more that frame of mind Thats a huge difference form not 'wanting' him to get better. Personally I like the kid a lot. I dont see anything that cant be coached up and/or fixed. His arm is good as well IMO. Conversely what I have seen of Murray I think the kid will be a very good NFL QB as well which I didnt not think going into the draft.

Sadly, I’m picking the Jets. For a rattled QB like Darnold this match up is the perfect medicine for him. I could easily see 300+ yards and 2+ TD’s vs the Giants. I don’t trust Shurmur running this team any longer. I’m going to expect the worst until he is gone.

"What I hope for is whatever is in the best interests of the New Yawk Football Giants".
