I think I want him. I don't watch a ton of college football outside of NC State, so I rely on highlights and sporadic TV watching to do my eval. If someone stands out, I take note and look up during the off-season.
Last week, Mims stood out to me with two catches specifically (video below at 1:33 and 2:15). I liked the way he controlled his body and used his hands, so I looked him up. He's big, apparent top notch speed, and great hands. Check, check, check.
Just turned on the Baylor game now, and the first play I see is a deep TD to Mims. Great route, out ran coverage, used his hands for the catch.
I don't know much about him, and I don't know where he's projected to go, but I think, I think, I want him.

Bump......gonna go ahead and say I want Mims in blue next year. Noticed him a few weeks ago, and all he's done since is impress. Just put up another 100+/TD game against TX. The kid is a stud. I'm surprised his name hasn't been brought up, but assume we'll hear it throughout the off-season.

Our new head coach, Matt Rhule, will certainly know him well....

This guy is currently ranked in the 300s on many big boards. Size, speed, rare crisp route running for a big bodied guy, great after the catch ability.
Yeah, just one of many flavors in such a deep WR class..

Haha...yeah, we are discussing him heavily in the draft section. You can mock him on your draft late in the 7th round... As GL suggests, he will fly up the boards ... no shortage of top receivers in this greatest class ever...in every round, every type you want.
