For god's sake......NO!!!! We have MANY other holes to fill including a blue chip pass rusher and LT. If you can't get Young you take Thomas or trade down. Daniel Jones is our FQB. Can we PLEASE stop with this ridiculous narrative over and over and over again? If they end up with the first pick they need to act serious about taking Burrow. I don’t want them to take him. Jones is the future but this way they can trade with Cincy, get more picks, and still get Young from OSU. Perfect storm I know but they would be smart to show interest in the kid from LSU They don’t need to show interest in Burrow to trade the pick. It’s the interest of other teams in Burrow that will create the value for the pick. Hopefully, a bunch of teams are interested...let the bidding war begin!

I will say this again Mara and Tisch both gave their seal of approval on the QB pick last year. There is no way either of them are going to disavow that decision because you want them to. You are in fantasy land if you think otherwise. Exactly DG isn't going anywhere unless maybe he is not healthy he did just battle cancer. they aren't quiting on this kid. Even if for some reason DG is not going forward as the GM ( unlikely) . The owners are not drafting a QB.

We may take a backup Qb in the later rounds. I think that is slim to none That is about it as far as drafting s a QB goes. If DG is fired it’s all out the window. Not a prayer the Giants would take a QB in the draft and it’s silly to even consider.

It's not going to happen unless it's strategic to trade for pics. Jones is their guy. He is their type of QB, teammate, human. Ownership is all about what just happened with Eli. Long term quality representative of the franchise. He has shown more as a PRO in his first year than most rookies do, whether NYG keeps Shurmur or not, ownership most certainly signed off on another Cutcliffe molded QB. Jones has definitely looked better than Josh Allen(who I loved coming out) and Lamar Jackson(who I did not) in their first seasons. Now, both of those guys are piloting playoff bound teams with 2nd year QBs. Let us not forget, its about TEAM. Dilfer won a SB, Brad Johnson won a SB, Hostetler won a SB, Foles won a SB. Superman himself, Cam Newton, did not. Marino didn't, Kelly didn't, Ryan hasn't. It's really about organizational fit, and Jones is going to have to fall flat on his face for them to scrap him.

Just think, if we believe drafting a QB four or five years in a row, the GM’s have zero football intellect.
Just imagine how we could’ve built a serviceable team around Eli with all those wasted QB picks. Eli could play until he’s 45. He’d be healthy and already has transcended the learning curve.
Now, back in reality, it is a terminally stupid idea. In fact, if they do draft a QB in the first round at #2, assuming we stand pat, I will officially abandon this franchise.

QB Josh Rosen is piloting a playoff bound team this year? I must’ve missed that factoid.
