This draft has 3 franchise-changing blue-chip prospects
Burrow, Young, and Thomas
Picking #4 is the absolute worst spot to be in. Whoever we pick will be a reach and the dropoff from the 3rd best player to the 4th best player is huge.
So, the Giants have 2 options:
1) Trade up for Young or Thomas 2) Trade down to someone who wants Tua, accumulate picks

Carolina if they don't resign Cam , will be willing to trade up. Buccaneers , same with Winston. Titans a possibility , all may need a Herbert, Tua , Eason or J, Love.

Trade with the Jags so they can move up and take a QB with the 4th pick . We get their 6 and 20. With 6 we take Jedrick Wills or Tristan Wirfs. With 20 we take Dylan Moses or Curtis Weaver. With or round 2 pick we take Jake Hanson or Tee Higgins

Yeah Every other team might as well not bother to show up after the 3rd pick and start the process of signing UDFAs

3 special blue-chip prospects You me and the other 7.8 billion know that is not true. Absolutely is true. The Top 3 players in the draft are consensus for a reason. The debate starts at #4. Huge gap from the Top 3 to the next tier of prospects

According to who? The analyst from momsbasement.com According to the consensus. I just said that. I actually made a thread arguing the opposite. The giants are in a really good spot to trade down. Tua is considered worthy of the first overall pick without the injury, by the time the offseason hype machine gets going, there will be one of, Jaguars, dolphins and raiders all looking to trade up to nab him. I also think when herbert goes through the offseason process, his other worldly physical attributes coming off a pretty good year at Oregon will get a few teams interested. If they want it, I think the giants will have the option to move down for another 1st round pick, maybe even moving down just one spot. Also the consensus on wirfs vs wills vs thomas is not so clear cut.

Yeah Every other team might as well not bother to show up after the 3rd pick and start the process of signing UDFAs 3 special blue-chip prospects There are more than 3. It's just, most our fans would rather have the 2 (Thomas and Young) that will most likely go in front of us. Juedy, Okuduh, Brown, Lamb to name a few more. Add Tua if he is healthy.

But your still getting a real good if not great player at #4. This years draft really has some very good players all over it, almost every position except maybe Safety.
