McCarthy?! You want Mcadoodoo's mentor?! Just look at how better the Packers are now without him! he will be our next HC. I don't want him but john wants Tisch out of his ear and Dave want to keep his job. Logically McCarthy is Mara's safest choice. Didn’t you just predict that we were keeping Shurmur like two days ago? Time to get out of the prediction business

And you do? You are debating that he is. I love these types of without thought come backs. Let me ask you this. What NFL teams besides the Brown's ( we all know what the CF that franchises is) have inquired him about his services? I have read a lot of shiny object speculation but see no interviews. I never claimed I did. I agree with the several teams thinking he’s worthy of their interest. You don’t, claiming that the teams that are interested in him are foolish and falling for “the shiny object.” Like I said, I guess you think you know more than them. All I did was take issue with your statement that his resume was “unimpressive” which I disagree with. Never declared he would be good or bad like you did. And according to Ian Rapoport, 3 other teams in addition to Cleveland: @rapsheet Matt Rhule is a hot candidate and has interest from the #Giants, #Panthers and almost certainly #Cowboys. NYG is absolutely attractive to him Again I will ask why has no team other than the Browns asked him to interview? If he was so coveted . you would think no FO would waste time wanting to get that guy in ASAP. To me this is Lewis Riddick part 2 . If I remember he was the shiny object in end of 2015 beginning 2016 off season . All the pendants said he was the next great thing to hit the NFL. He is not even mentioned anymore because that BS has flown the coop. No team wants him.

I will settle for this one. Why do you think Rhule is qualified to be the head coach of the Giants? No answers that simple question.

I have answered this already, and actually started a thread about him a month ago. Go find it. And I’m not answering your stupid questions. One of the things I like most about Rhule is that you don’t like him. You are like the George Constanza of football takes ... if our team does the opposite of what you want, we will be SB champs again in no time.

Why did it not stop the giants from requesting an interview Don Martindale and Joe Judge so there is your theory on that. Again I ill ask you Why do you believe Rhule is qualified to be the Giants Head Coach? Any other theories you have so you can continue to dodge the question?

I feel like I would take that as a sign if I were an owner..besides, Rhule has an agent that can call any owner with an opening if he's interested.

Why do you think that? "Rhule turns down interview in Dallas" is the absolute last headline Jerry, or any GM wants to see. What's the perception of him turning the Brows down? It ain't that the Browns are a top level organization, that's for sure.

What does it say about the interviewees character. If he is that arrogant to believe he has the right to embarrass the interviewer. Is that guy worthy to head coach your team. You have negotiated contracts. So you know you have to find a common ground in which to use as a platform to communicate upon. This guy seem to lack that skill set. A sill that is a must have quality to be an NFL HC.

I'm just saying in what is a very high profile, highly pubic process, no one want to be the ugly girl at the dance. Heck, the poster Jones is literally pulling bricks out of his ass to show how the Giants are a mess and not desirable, and he's a fan of the team! My guess would be the Rhule has narrowed the list of teams he would want to coach...and he's not wasting anyones time or making anyone look bad.

The ugly girl paradox is exactly you do not ask him for an interview. Because 2 of outcomes would be bad for PR. The way I see it if someone decides to kiss metal pole when it is 14 degrees . You do not follow suit.

You do not follow suit. Not sure if I am doing this right: The #Redskins interview with coach Ron Rivera is more of a coronation. All signs point to Rivera becoming Washington’s new coach today, sources say. That is the expectation. Veteran agent Frank Bauer would not allow him on an interview like this unless significant work was done. This?

The point I am making is that a lot of the dance goes on behind the scenes It does, but I do not think the giants 100% operate that way. They interview a few and make a decision. It does kind of put the kibosh on the "let me see if I can conjure up anymore offers before I take yours. idea.

Im sure he is a good coach and all (don't know much about him honestly) However when I see his pictures I think is this guy Giants HC Material looks wise? He looks like a guy in the parts dept of a dealership. I was mainly joking even though I see a little Rubble in him. Rhule's suits already fit a bit better than McAdoo's. I'm more concerned about the culture fit and lack of NFL experience. I still don't know what makes Rhule special other than he's had success in college. He has no experience but wants to pick and choose the perfect situation to get his career started in the NFL. He seems more concerned about finding a spot where he can propel his career rather than simply being happy for an opportunity. Seems a very risky hire to me given lack of experience...exactly what we don't need in my opinion. Rhule screams Texas to me. He has a Southern Baptist upbringing and is the son of a preacher...and seems to have that demeanor. I can see Rhule in Dallas or Carolina...it's no surprise he ended up as a coach of a Baptist school. I thought he is from New York...he is!!! Born in NYC, Has a masters degree. Went to Penn State. So, no cigar, my friend.

Yes, I am thoroughly unimpressed. Interview McCarthy, Root for the Titans to beat the Pats and let the Belichick chips fall where they may. If both fall through, try out Martindale and the Ravens defensive scheme he'll bring along as well as the Saints offensive scheme he'll bring along.
