Good news for us.
Gives us a better trade-back market, or could result in a situation where Detroit or Washington trades back, which pushes non-QB talent down to us.

Washington will draft Young. Rivera is defensive minded HC. Detroit needs to protect Stanford . They could trade down if they get a haul of picks.

this puts the dolphins in a tight spot. Cincinnati, Washington and Detroit aren't likely to move out of their spots. Redskins wont pass up on Young and if they do Detroit will snag him or will take Okudah. After the Dolphins you got the Chargers, Panthers and maybe the Raiders that need a QB. Dolphins could move up one spot to guarantee they get Tua and since they have 3 first rd picks, easily could burn their last pick in the 1st rd and add some other picks to get the trade done. The Raiders also have 2 first rd picks so it could get interesting real quick

They have 2 good tackles They are in worse shape in the secondary than us (and we have the excuse of rookies and 2and year players)and need D line (Snacks is fading fast) Thomas is probably in our laps if we stay put

If not the 1st they could give up a 2nd and a 3rd. Either way if the Dolphins want Tua, they'll have to roll the dice or move up.

If not one of those teams jump Miami and I think grab Tua. IMO he should be the 2nd QB taken in the draft if the injury isn't as bad as feared.
I would want 2 first rd picks and 2 second rd picks. I could be talked down to 2 first rd and a1 second rd plus another pick. This would give us 2 second rd picks this year and 2 first rd picks next year.

Wont teams be concerned about the hip injury?

Wont teams be concerned about the hip injury? If he gets a clean bill of health, some QB needy team will convince themselves that it's not an issue.
He also had ankle surgeries in each of the last 2 seasons I think

I wouldnt take him in the 1st round. I was worried about his injuries before the hip. Some people are just injury prone. He appears to be one of them. Not enough iron or calcium as a kid.
