I do agree that a young inexperienced HC will need an experience DC and OC.

I'd be good with Garrett as the OC and in division brings deep knowledge of the Cowgirls. That's not a bad thing.

Hire Garrett get an experienced OC and a back-up HC, if Judge does not work out

Judge or DG ? It's very possible that this was discussed with Judge after they hired him and he might even have initiated the conversation and requested to further investigate Garrett's interest.

Why don't they interview Kellen Moore?
The guy did have the #1 ranked offense this season.

Why don't they interview Kellen Moore? The guy did have the #1 ranked offense this season. That also took the ball out of Zeke's hands needlessly (the let's fix what's not broken in game adjustments where the OC shuts down his own team's running game when it was working)

Again I have no problem with this Having 2 very experienced coordinators on each side of the ball is a very good idea for a young HC to be honest. Not to mention if you are working as a team with the GM having him help identify and reach out to potential assistants is a good idea People need to stop acting paranoid

The OC spot is probably the most attractive job available.
I feel bad for whoever has to step in as DC.

As for Zeke he did have 300 carries this season which is around the same number he's been getting for the past couple of years and I do remember him during the Eagles game pulling himself out of one their drives in mid-3rd quarter because he was just worn-out.

Not crazy about this move. I understand it from the perspective of wanting a young HC to have experience with him. But....There's a reason why they basically neutered Garrets influence on offense with bringing in Kellen Moore and having running and passing game coordinators. And I never thought his offenses as an OC were anything special.
I hope they also look at Bill Callahan as an option as well. He had the skins playing hard under really tough circumstances and I liked that he committed to the run game.

Would actually like having separate running and passing game coordinators..
Most of your best running teams had a seperation in duties(and allowed for very creative running and blocking concepts)as modern NFL offenses have evolved
If we.could get a quick strike basketball on grass style running attack like San Francisco has combined with a high octane style passing attack this offense could be fun

As far as knowledge and experience Garret would be fine as a OC.
But does anyone feel that it might undermine a brand new coach having someone like Garret over his shoulder. And Mara might be more apt to pull the trigger on a new HC if he has someone like Garret on the staff ?
Not sure how I feel.

I don't think the Giants ownership was happy that they felt it necessary to change coaches again, and will be very loathe to do so again in the next few years. I'm going to say he gets at least 3 years before being on the hot seat, maybe another one on top of that.
