The reported spoke of his teaching background. Anyone know what, specifically, it was? As a teacher myself, I really like how he spoke about how it's the teacher's responsibility to make sure every student understands what's being taught. I think he is working in his phd in education and also: Between his time as a graduate assistant at Mississippi State and his Birmingham-Southern job, Judge briefly worked as a kindergarten physical education teacher in West Point, Miss., which is near Mississippi State.

Why does he look so much like Josh Rosen?! Much more like a young Jim Thome

"Teaching is to inspire learning" best quote of the press conference those words speak volumes Totally agree. I also liked how he said he wanted the players to be better off after they left football than while they played. I think that speaks volumes to his respect for the men who risk their health for our entertainment. I bet that resonated with the players too.

Just EASY for him--he definitely lives the game and he is truly excited. I am blown away that he is 38! This is a cornerstone moment that could bring back the respect of this organization.

Wow, I'd love to confirm if he's really working on that PhD in ed. That'd be awesome.

Welp everyone here should love what he just said about personnel versatility and not putting square pegs into round holes. IE repeatedly running Saquon into an 8 man box and wondering why it’s not working

Tremendous press conference. Hard not to feel great about this guy. It was beyond tremendous. It actually made me a little emotional. Anyone worried that DJ would regress under a new system should have no concerns. He will probably make Jones a better quarterback than if Shurmur had stayed. What throwback to old school, and not in an archaic way. He will make the Giants great again.

Just comparing this guy to Pat Shurmur I feel good. I watched the matt rhule presser, who was my choice and he was pretty inspiring, but in a weird tony Robbins way which I think could get old for pros. Kind of like jim Harbaugh had a short shelf life with his players. Based on what he is saying, if hes actually good at it and can implement his program the way he says he wants to, his approach and demeanor seems more sustainable long term to keeping a successful team going. But it's all just conjecture ar this point

Oh and by the way coach...it's not just NY and NJ you're representing. There is one house in Bozeman, MT that's glad you're our coach.

I’m borderline speechless. This guy was not going to be a secret for much longer. We really may have found a gem

Tremendous press conference. Hard not to feel great about this guy. Agree. Wow, so worldly and mature for 38. Dead serious but transitions seamlessly into humor. We won't have to hold him to a high standard because he will himself. I believe the days of dull pressers are over. As are excessive fumbles by DJ.

not sure I've seen a better press conference if I'm honest
If I was a player watching that I'd be ready to get to work
I did not feel that way watching the Rhule press conference ... that felt more like church

He's Tom Coughlin as a younger man. It's exactly what the Giants need. This is the first time in a long time I felt optimistic about the Giants future in a while.
Football is results based, but at least for the next 6 months I can feel excited now.

Perhaps an overreaction, and anything can happen, but did we just score a 'prodigy' as our head coach?
that wasnt normal lol. that was better.
we deserve it, dammit, enough dark times - I guess the price to pay for those miraculous pats superbowls, but its a new decade now.
