Tremendous press conference. Hard not to feel great about this guy. Agree. Wow, so worldly and mature for 38. Dead serious but transitions seamlessly into humor. We won't have to hold him to a high standard because he will himself. I believe the days of dull pressers are over. As are excessive fumbles by DJ. Ha I was thinking the same thing, dj just sh!t his pants when he heard about turnovers. He is going to be too afraid to turn it over

Oh and by the way coach...it's not just NY and NJ you're representing. There is one house in Bozeman, MT that's glad you're our coach. And another one in Wisconsin.

After seeing this I will trust him on his staff choices. He has no one that's available that he owes positions to. It's going to be about vision and synergy.

Just comparing this guy to Pat Shurmur I feel good. I watched the matt rhule presser, who was my choice and he was pretty inspiring, but in a weird tony Robbins way which I think could get old for pros. Kind of like jim Harbaugh had a short shelf life with his players. Based on what he is saying, if hes actually good at it and can implement his program the way he says he wants to, his approach and demeanor seems more sustainable long term to keeping a successful team going. But it's all just conjecture ar this point The thing about Rhule is that he has a very public speaking type of way about him, in a way that makes it obvious that he learned from his dad who was a minister. There is nothing about Judge that hints bullshit. I'm speechless.

not sure I've seen a better press conference if I'm honest If I was a player watching that I'd be ready to get to work I did not feel that way watching the Rhule press conference ... that felt more like church His father was minister, so you're not crazy to feel like that.

Time will tell but one thing for sure is looks completely ready for the NY media. Very impressive. I liked what I saw and heard. Based on that press conference I can see how Mara and Co were vowed

Tremendous press conference. Hard not to feel great about this guy. It was beyond tremendous. It actually made me a little emotional. Anyone worried that DJ would regress under a new system should have no concerns. He will probably make Jones a better quarterback than if Shurmur had stayed. What throwback to old school, and not in an archaic way. He will make the Giants great again. Exactly A really nice blend of old school and the modern dare I say analytics people have been speaking of (why things need to be done a certain way, which he explained in the Papa interview] His education level is what struck me as well. Again We now know why he blew everone away in the interview

If this guy doesn’t turn the team around idk who will. I went from optimistic to beyond thrilled within the first minute of the presser

Perhaps an overreaction, and anything can happen, but did we just score a 'prodigy' as our head coach? that wasnt normal lol. that was better. we deserve it, dammit, enough dark times - I guess the price to pay for those miraculous pats superbowls, but its a new decade now. Prodigy is the exact word I was thinking of...of course we need results

But I am happy with what we heard from Judge, hopefully he can get things done

I think the fact that he is appealing to all of us is telling. This board is very diverse when it comes to football philosophies and approaches to the game. Yet, he is rubbing all of us the right way. And none of it seemed fake. It was very authentic. Authenticity is key and I think he is starting off on the right foot to say the least.
In any event, back to being giddy.

This kid knocked it out the park. Immediately after the last 2 HC intro pressers I did not feel it. Judge? I feel it.
Now we know why Mara fell in love.
Finally we agreed on someone based off of the interviews/ press conferences.
I'm all in on this kid!
Coach Doctor Joe Judge!
I also think he threw shade at the "flashy" players who are all about them.... Cough Odell Cough. He would hate this coach and that's a good thing.

Any coordinators who are looking for a job who were watching this press conference should be on the phone right now calling the Giants asking, "can I please interview?"

I just wasn't buying what he was selling Joe Judge could have told me he had some ocean front property in Arizona and I would have looked for my check book.

I did not hear Rhule, but I did hear some of McCarthy's presser yesterday.
IMO Judge just made McCarthy sound like a goofy child.

Now we can see how he was a knock out in the interview. Super presser, very impressive guy. Live in KC but have been a Giants fan for over 50 years. Can't wait for the draft, camp and next season.

I'm going to admit right here and now that I smirked when Tisch started to throw his weight around thinking it was going to cause more issues for management. I going to apologize to him right now because I guess it was him who was the catalyst for change and convinced Mara to pull the plug on Shurmur. Mara IS a silver spoon man, but Tisch did build his success. Wellington would love Judge.

I have been at the Cleatwater Marine Rescue Aquarium all day so I haven't seen it. Based on how everyone is reacting, I am excited to get home and watch it.
On another positive note, since I am disabled and feel useless, I may be volunteering there.
