No as I said. They did not let the other10 on the field beat them. Including the O-line. The score reflected it. His 500+ yards of offense was nullified. if as you say they were a on or 2 man show. I can tell you it takes an entire team to advance in the playoffs. If you think so or not their Defensive game plan worked. I agree which is why they lost? That offense comes down to 2 people. With Ingram a non-factor there is an extra defender to go after or spy Lamar forcing the situation. Also Ingram s very good at blitz protection so that was a hidden loss. Baltimore won almost every category on the field, total yards, time of posession, total plays , first downs ....etc. It was the turnovers that did them in. Baltimore has some young weapons on offense. They need to go out and get some possession receivers that can hold onto the ball. They also need to find a young clone of Ingram if they are going forward with this offense. Roberts is useless...was useless in Oakland They should get Travis Etienne...now that would be scary as ****... Him and a Henry Ruggs lll on that offense with Andrews and Hurst ... Power and speed..

They seemed instead to go with the college approach of our top player is so good he can do it all himself which works in college because of the huge talent disparities but never works in the pros, as it shouldn’t. The day that crap works in the pros is the day Im done with the nfl. There was no reason to not use Gus Edwards..he is a good back... And this was when people were bitching about why weren't we talking to Greg Roman I would bring up.... all he knows is a gimmick style offense that is dependent on a running qb...

I was completely puzzled watching the second half of the second half of that game. Everytime Jackson took off for 4 yards I thought, there’s another nail in their coffin.

The day that crap works in the pros is the day Im done with the nfl. The adjustments were disappointing for a Harbaugh run team. The fact they didn't try to run with Hill or Edwards was head scratching. I like Hill too thought he might be the x factor in the game. They just put everything on Lamar's shoulder and hoped Louisville Lamar showed up.

Yes , I don't know why they didn't try to generate Ingram impact through screens and shorts passes to Edwards, hoolywood or hill since the defense was so aggressive.

I think we just need an OL that can create a lane and a little space some times. Barkley can crush a team if he is given a little bit of space to work with.

We did have Henry years ago with Jacobs. You know the guy some fans called the “tip toe burglar”
Ah, I see some fans remember that stupid nick name.

That was his peak... By 2011 he was a shell of himself and it was Bradshaw carrying what little running game they had that year. These guys unfortunately don't last very long which is why you can't build and offense around one of these guys But at least with the bruising RB, you likely already have other backs on the roster, being worked into games, or can acquire another rather easily. As opposed to the run first QB (as you alluded to), especially a spindly one - very short window for success, and your whole scheme is screwed for potentially some time.

I absolutely agree. Isn't he a free agent? I'd give him a huge contract to rotate with Saquon and have an unstoppable rushing attack that would keep both fresh.

Bo Scarborough? lol ... he is terrible The lust for a big plodding back just because of a 2 game run is funny here ... You're just mad cuz the Titans are using the ol school smashmouth football that you say doesn't work in today's pass happy NFL & I told you can work with the right OL/RB & D. Titans have the perfect balance of both, top 10 O & top 12 D. And Henry has rushed for 677yds in the past 3 games dating to their win over Houston in week 17. 2 game run? Tannehill just threw for 83yds while Jackson put up 500 total yds but just 12pts! Tenn D is allowing 12.5ppg in their 2 playoff wins over NE/Balt. I'm sure you're dreading Tenn making it to & winning the SB with that ol school smashmouth football they're playing. You're praying for a KC/SF 51-48 SB & not a Tenn vs GB/SF snore fest that ends up 20-14.

A 2 game outleir doesn't make it a reason to build a team only to win games 10-6 with a game manager throwing it only 10 times a game like you want gomer Thankfully we will be building our roster and team to win and play multiple styles (which means sorry to say the foward pass and a modern style of offense will most definitely be just as important as.poundong it when nessesary...oh..and we have a dynamic fun all around back that doesn't cater to your narrative anyway,as Judge said he will build around what players do well, and we have team speed and weapons and a modern young NFL Qb,) I didn't bother to read your useless d ....g gloatibg rant,as i hope others ignored as well as your posts generally kill brain cells,I hope you enjoyed your first boner without the use of drugs ...but i can tell you didn't call a dr after 4 hours with this

You don't read em cuz you don't like factual stats. And again, they have run for 200+ in 3 straight games. I've never said I want 10-6 games every week from NY, I just said I don't have a problem with low scoring games as long as we are on the winning end of em. NY has never been a top 3 30+ppg type O but you seem to think they a have been . They prefer to build a team with a dominant D & ball control O. Not get into Madden type 41-38 games every week. You even stated in previous posts that teams today cannot win games in which the QB doesn't throw at least 20+ passes.
21 pass att vs Texans 14 completions = win 16 pass att vs NE 9 completions = win 15 pass att vs Balt 8 completions =win
3 straight wins over 3 playoff teams, all div winners while throwing less than 21 passes per game, how ever is this possible in this pass happy league of yours ?

Like what's your problem? For one , you want to be taken seriously but didn't know Parcells HC and Bill Belichick DC won Super Bowls as Coach's with the Giants! Do you even have a clue who Lawrence Taylor is or Harry Carson ? That's not what I said. I said I didn't know that Belichick had worked with Parcells prior to him becoming head coach.

Anyone not knowing that BB was our DC in the 80s musta been born in 2000. They also don't bother to learn about NYG history but profess to be die hard fans of the team. Most NE fans fit that description. From 2001 on, they came flooding outta the woodwork!

From what I have found, Belichick did not work with Parcells prior to Parcells becoming HC of the NYG.
He was hired by Ray Perkins in 1979. Parcells became HC in 1983 and retained Belichick.
"In 1979, Belichick began a 12-year stint with the New York Giants alongside head coach Ray Perkins as a defensive assistant and special teams coach. He added linebackers coaching to his duties in 1980 and was named defensive coordinator in 1985 under head coach Bill Parcells, who had replaced Perkins in 1983. "

Bill P was Ray Perkins DC on the same staff.

Call me crazy but I think Tennessee is beating KC and going to the super bowl to face the Packers. Not crazy at all. They beat a 12-4 Patriots team and the following week beat a 14-2 Ravens team that everybody had pegged going to the super bowl. The Titans are playing with house money. All the pressure is on Andy Reid and the Chiefs.

Interesting sidenote: somebody was telling me the other day that one of the members of the defense has a wife who is a chef and she cooks vegan food for the entire defense. Wonder if their diet has anything to do with them playing out of their minds.

Here's the bottom line.....we aren't getting a big back. Dave is far too invested (financially and personally) in Saquan to even bring in a complimentary back.
I have no idea why Gallman was a healthy scratch for the last several games. But there is probably going to be a lack of "reason" applied to our RB situation for the near future at least.
I'd be happy to be proven wrong of course.
