Astros lucked out that the China virus pretty much saved them from having to get heavily booed at every opposing stadium they would have gone to this yr & I would have played "Bang a gong" by T-Rex every time they came to bat. Funny how badly their batting avg dipped without some cheating. Yanks & Dodgers got robbed by these pukes.

HOUSTON ASTROS ARE REPORTEDLY COMPLAINING TO MLB ABOUT FANS TAUNTING THEM TOO MUCH
You want to know how to get fans to taunt you even more? Complain about them taunting you, which will only make it worse.
The Houston Astros visited Yankee Stadium to face the New York Yankees for the first time since the discovery of the team cheating during the 2017 season. The Yankees won over the Astros, 7-3.
The fan base had a great night taunting the Astros with several NSFW chants, signs, and costumes. However, a report by Sports Illustrated’s Stephanie Apstein detailed how a Yankees fan was asked to remove his costume after a security guard informed him the Astros complained about fans taunting them, so changes were made by the Yankees after Major League Baseball contacted them.

if you can't take the heat, don't do the crimes, holy schmoly!!!
yeah when you cheat a team out of WCS appearance s#1+ happens. And now the f#({ does their former manager get another manager somewhere else? I'm not a pete rose apologist, but how is what he did any worse?

Not to mention the main culprit Alex Cora getting rehired.

Former Houston Astros general manager Jeff Luhnow deleted data from his cell phone during MLB's investigation into the team's sign-stealing scheme two years ago, according to The Athletic. Luhnow claimed to only delete sensitive material involving his wife, though MLB found Luhnow deleted backup data and other information.
"Your credibility is further impacted by the fact that you permanently deleted information from your phone and its backups in anticipation that my investigators would seek to search your phone," Manfred wrote to Luhnow. "You did not tell my investigators that you had done this until they confronted you about it in your second interview. While you explained that you were simply deleting sensitive personal photographs, I have no way to confirm that you did not delete incriminating evidence."
"In addition to submitting to two interviews by the Commissioner's Office, the Astros and MLB had complete unfettered access to every text message I sent or received during the relevant time period," Luhnow said. "MLB never identified a single text that suggested I had any involvement in the matter — and the League had plenty of texts to make its case. In fact, the investigation uncovered 22,000 text messages from the alleged actual participants in the sign stealing. The alleged participants openly texted in real time about sign stealing activity — and not a single communication implicated me, directly or indirectly, in any way, shape or form. I was not mentioned in these contemporaneous texts because I was not party to sign stealing activities."

This is like talking about a prom date that scorned you 5 years after the fact. They will never strip anything. Also it’s not like the Astros haven’t rolled right on winning. It’s like the Sopranos, it’s over.

I hope the Astros beat the Phillies and win the Championship. Dusty Baker finally wins a World Series and Trey Mancini is on a World Series Champion after his bout with cancer and got traded from Baltimore at the deadline.
I don't want a single team from Philadelphia to ever win anything. Period !
According to Evan Drellich's new book, "Winning Fixes Everything," Cora would boast about the Astros' sign-stealing exploits to members of the Red Sox once he changed jobs. Notably, he'd reportedly get a little loose with the lips once he started drinking.
From the Boston Herald:
When Cora arrived in Boston to manage the Red Sox in 2018, he would "occasionally talk about the Astros' sign-stealing from 2017, even brag, sometimes in a late-night setting," Drellich wrote.
"Especially when they started drinking," a member of the Red Sox reportedly said.
"We stole that (expletive) World Series," Cora allegedly said.
While many teams were accused of illegally stealing signs during those years, Cora's acts were seen as particularly egregious.
"We knew the Astros did [steal signs]," another member of the Red Sox told Drellich, "because Alex Cora told us. He said that when they played the Dodgers, 'We already knew what everybody was throwing before we even got on base. We didn't have to get on base.' And everybody was like, 'What the hell does that mean?'
.... welll let me show you....
Alex Coras Red Sox then won the World Series the following year with a highly explosive offense and many Red Sox hitters having huge numbers at the plate...

You're a bitter, bitter man.
Bitter with facts.
As someone who grew up loving the sport, MLB has fallen on its face to appease. Just like our society in general, sports are turning into a great depression.
Cheaters are rewarded as long as they suck up to the side in power.
