And improved the pass rush because he was doubled a ton. Kid is a player the day they get a dominant force on the outside he will give 5 to 7 sacks a year. Our run defense was also MUCH better with Patrick Graham here. for one year. 17 worse then ever.

How George Young got into this conversation is an odd take. The man who helped turn around this franchise, was a 5x executive of the year, and drafted more talented players than many fans can remember should not be discussed in any way shape or form in a negative way. good by . Weak response. I expected better..

WTF still talking about this George Young F'd up ten times more then that because he wasn't afraid to take a chance. Williams if resigned is worth it guy is disruptive in the passing game and as solid as can be against the run. I absolutely do not get the hate on Williams as a player. Is he worth the #9 pick in the draft? nope...but he is sure as hell worth a 3rd and a second contract. I understand its just a difference of opinion so I try not to get too worked up over it. His game may not always reflect on the stat sheet but you see it when you watch games. He does some of the stuff analytics wish they could quantify. they did PFF had him as one of the most undervalued players in the league, Not for long.

Tough projected sched? Sure.....but except for two specific games every year you know your opponents 5+ years out. It's not like this was sprung on them in an attempt to thwart success. Barring some locker room mutiny there is no such thing as a hot seat for Judge this year in terms of win losses. He shouldn't be on the hot seat for 3 years. We are rebuilding again. Hopefully he believes in and likes Jones after 2020. This team started 'rebuilding' 2 years ago with Gettleman and Shurmur. Shurmur only got 2 years and he was gone. But, Judge should get 3?. What if Judge brings us to the same record as Shurmur? He should still get 3 years? The rebuilding is not going to start "again".. It has already started and will just be added to with this years FA and draft pickups. Judge will begin with many more pieces in place than Shurmir did.

You can not keep firing HCs after 1.5 - 2 years. They need time to build something. Remember when TC was getting fired in 2007? Good thing he didnt. Judge is 38. He needs 3 years min. The Giants signed up for it. There is going to be a learning curve with him. A year by year learning curve

Well when we looked at this years schedule a year ago I thought we could win 12 games, so it's safe to say it doesn't matter at this point. We don't have a complete coaching staff yet, we have free agency to go through, we have the draft, OTAs, mini camps, preseason ect.

A year by year learning curve TC was gonna get fired cuz the players went crying to upper management that his DI routine was causing them distress & hurting their little feelings. He had to tone it down & become more gentler, softer & kinder with the players in order to keep his job.

Nah Don't get negative anymore. So facts make you want to respond negatively? What happened to you? Nothing just was a fact young was terrible at the end especially after free agency he was lost and over the cap but before that he was piling up gems like Kanavis Mcgee and Derrick Brown Dave Brown Cedric Jones. he had a rough go of it I'm not gonna argue it because it is fact.

Wait a second. Isn’t it YOU who said that every GM has there mistakes when it comes to the draft? So let’s crucify Young at the end of his 17 years as our GM because someone said the Leonard Williams trade was stupid. Which it was.. Yeah I forgot about those gems, I remember him finding Tiki Barber, Michael Strahan, Jessie Armstead and Amani Toomer at the tail end of his career.

If you don’t want to do this, then don’t criticize a Giant legend.

He just galvanizes the fact that GMs have ups and downs. don't give me shit about Giants legends I respect what he did here but he needed Accorsi to get him up to speed. Armstead if he didn't blow his knee out and drop like rock would have never been a Giant. Young was stuck in the past big plodding LBs. At the end his drafts were killing the team and was ill prepared for the new age of free agency. Like I said I respect him and he didn't a great job getting the Mara's separated not only from one another but from the football operations.

Because all I see here is shit.. A man who turned this franchise around, you know when the franchise was in turmoil in the ‘70s when you were hitting puberty. You seem to focus on his misses and forget all the hits he made. This has been entertaining. Stay cool in Florida my man.

Literally on the day George Young was confirmed to be elected into the pro football hall of fame, we got a guy downplaying his success.
Fantastic.

I'm glad they don't have a real easy schedule like these past couple of seasons.. This will give them a true gauge where they are as a competitive team..

Have fun talking shit with the rest of your cronies I don't do this. stay cold where ever you are. WTF are you talking about no one is taking anything from George Young but you enjoy making shit up and talking out your ass. He struggled mightily after hitting on early drafts. Loved the man for bringing our franchise back. facts are facts he struggled mightily at the end and. Further more I wanted in the Hall years ago. you were a boy when he was running things WTF do you know lol. don't come at me with this shit.

Not down playing at all he brought this franchise back from the wilderness years. now I can't say he was great from 90 on he struggled with the cap when it was implemented and drafts. Those were not my intentions but the Captain likes to twist it up maybe I said it the wrong way I have wanted George in forever and was pissed Jurrah got in before him. All I was doing as making the point that even a GM like George struggled and had plenty of hits and misses.
