Said we should pick Jeudy at 4. Yeah because we definitely need another receiver. This is why he's no longer employed by this team.

He's not the only one saying WR at #4 to the Giants; I've seen mocks that have the Giants taking CeeCee at #4.
WR, OT, or Simmons. I don't think I've read a recent (current) mock that has the Giants looking at any other position. Free agency might change that.

We do need a other WR. And Jeudy would be awesome.
Unfortunately we have bigger fish to fry.

We should get a WR but not at 4. It's Simmons or Thomas at 4. At 4 for me, at this point, assuming Young is taken already, I'd go Thomas or Wirfs, or trade down. Most pundits grade Thomas a bit higher, but Iowa produces so many quality OLinemen, it puts him into consideration. Of course a lot can change between now and the draft, as we have seen in years past.

No way no how can DG draft a WR at 4!!! This team definitely needs a WR but there are plenty in this draft that can be plucked later rounds. LB or OT at 4 if not a trade back to get more picks.

IF they think Thomas, Wirfs and Wills all have about the same grade, like a lot of mocksters do, then the best option is trade back and then take one. I like Thomas, but havent really payed a lot of attention to the other 2 to be honest.

We should get a WR but not at 4. Yeah And this is why Ross is working for the NFL network We.now know who was the one putting together Reese's big board. The best value at 4 would by far be OT...with Wirfs and Thomas Even a trade back one or 2 spots guarentees one of these guys...

This is the same Mark Ross that helped F the team up. I would not do anything he says.

I got killed for it but I said when we drafted OBJ we should have found a way to get Zack Martin. just because the need at that time was through the roof for a tone setting all pro OL.

Panther got the right guy and it hurt the Giants and more so Reeses career. Ross got a crap load of interviews for a short time nothing ever came out of it for him to bad for the Giants.

I love how these asshats make these kind of statements AFTER watching the Titans storm their way to the AFC Championship through a dominant running game and defense.....not to mention that's the way both the Ravens and Niners ran through the regular season to their #1 seeds......just idiotic.
Because that one big name WR has ever put a team over the top. I hate to say it but Odell was the most talented WR to come out of the draft in recent memory and look at all the success he has brought to both his teams.....<insert eyeroll here>

Also telling that Reese seems to have completely fallen off of the GM radar.

He did. Colts and Panthers off the top of my head. Says a lot when not once did he get a GM offer. I just find it funny that at one time Ross was the new flavor of the month. Years later he’s chopped liver. As for Reese, he turned down the Raiders interview for the GM position. Makes me wonder, does he want to get back into the league?

All three teams found great players, nothing to look back and complain about.

I think people here are overlooking Wills and perhaps overvaluing Thomas. Thomas is very good, probably the best in this class but he isn't the all world prospect that Nelson was a few years ago. That "Nelson type" prospect doesn't exist in this OL class. How ever there are a ton of talented OT in the class. WR is extremely deep too.
Unless we want Simmons or Okudah (I doubt it) then I think trading back is the smart move if we can. Getting Jeudy or Thomas would be nice, getting Ruggs and Austin Jackson would be way better. I personally think that Simmons might get drafted by Detroit which would make a trade back perfect for us.

I thought he would have been long gone by our pick. Not faulting the talent just a matter they could have got as good a talent at a more important position and a position of dire need. Martin is what he was projected to be an All Pro type talent and a good guy in the locker room over all.

I wonder how much Reese is looking for a job. He is 56 years old, his two kids are grown and he's a millionaire. Some people are happy to ride off into the sunset and not work until they drop dead in the stadium.

Hind sight is always 20/20 but at the time we had just spent our first round pick on Pugh the year before and were had a depleted WR group with just Cruz left over. I don't think we can fault them for drafting Odell or Martin in that situation. Obviously looking back I wish we had Martin, but the Odell thing is still working out with the trade we made last year reaping big benefits.
