He did fantastic work with Romo from the day he arrived in Dallas as the OC. He also did very good work with Dak. If he can make those two into Pro Bowl QBs he should do wonders with Jones. Dallas also had some fantastic offensive years with Garrett as the OC. He certainly likes to push the ball down the field which should be great for Slayton and Jones. Staytons speed and Jones fantastic deep ball will be fun to watch. He also loves to use the RBs in the passing game. This could be very good. Cautiously optimistic. Yeah I like his aggressive approach to offense.. Set up the run with downfield passing Uses his TEs.... And Dak was running RPOs with him his 1st 3 years...Moore took that away ...

not trying to be funny here but I meant to say this on the thread of the pit bull attack that if the dog owners don't pay up you should try to get on Judge Judy, seriously... as for Garrett I think he'd be a good hire... don't think I can properly evaluate who's better or worse or not. I do think Kitchens would have been received terribly by the fans so there's that I've heard of Judge Judy, but I never watched it. Is this the kind of cases she handles? It's a $400 vet bill, so I'm not sure it would be worth their time or mine. As far as the owner goes, she is denying the whole thing even happened. She lives in NC with the dog and was visiting her daughter down here in FL over the holidays when it happened. She left for home the day after the incident. We have several witnesses so she would lose. I just don't know if it's worth the headache. yeah she handles those cases ALL the time, seems like one every episode... she's an animal lover and doesn't tolerate irresponsible pet owners, but for $400? eh, your call... i know it's a TV show so take it for what it's worth, but from what I hear its legit and you actually do get the $$ if awarded to you. Plus we can all watch you on TV... uh, ok well we get to see Lennon on TV... pets sometimes get to stand by the plaintiffs

This one I wouldn't like at all... Yes the stat lines of his offenses have been good, but he has never been part of a winning team IIR,seems his concepts are very stale and to me is the opposite of what Judge is preaching (fit the system around what players do best, seems he is rigid in his system)

In my case it is as much about the money as it is how the other party behaved regarding the matter.

In honor of your experience I have adopted a 8 year old Black Lab Debo he runs around with my avatar Nike the Blue Pit Bull. Debo plays fetch with a lacrosse ball Nike plays soccer with a rather large plastic ball.

Cowherd was angry Garrett was even interviewing with the Giants. Thought the job was beneath him and he should only accept head coaching positions...doubt he is referencing Garrett. Cowherd is a Giants hater though.

If it is BS I am actually glad.
I don't know why but I find it hard to picture Garrett with the Giants. Much like I could not picture McCarthy here either.

Just logged on and saw this post but there's been no confirmation of any kind for the past 3 hrs so I'm assuming it's BS and the thread should be deleted.

"If" true at this point, he has the experience as a HC, knows the division, can develop Jones, is well respected in the league, was a Giant and Mara really likes him. It would also mean Judge is comfortable with having Garrett there for all the right reasons as someone he can rely on for advice/opinion
This makes the OL even more of a priority since he does know how to develop a run game and already has SB
Garrett gets the chance to reset his career and focus just on the Offense I think it is all good

I can't say I am thrilled about this. But I'm not surprised. Everybody likes him as a person, and I'm sure he does great in an interview. Yeah....I thought he under achieved as a HC. Maybe OC is where he belongs. We'll see. If he's our guy then I'll get behind him and hope for the best. He suffers from Shurmur-itis also. Great football mind, but not a leader of men. I think he will be good for this offense, he runs the Coryell, so we should see a vertical passing attack, instead of this WCO crap weve seen for years.

Dak was borderline crying in front of a podium when he heard Garrett was leaving and went on and on about how Garrett meant the world to him. That told me something...

If Linehan visits, we may not see a decision until after the weekend. There will also be 2 other staffs available to pick through.

this team needs to get off the fired cowboy obsession. they had the best talent in the league and did absolutely nothing with it. they took a 14 & 2 roster, and made it 8 & 8. they clearly were outcoached time and again by new age thinkers like pederson and mcdermott. they cost their team 6 wins relative to their roster talent!
