This is a good hire. What he did as a head coach in Dallas has nothing to do with his position here. Also, the man had to work under a dictator for an owner for 12 years (OC and head coach) that alone deserves a Medal of Honor. He’s respected in the NFL circles, has played the game, and now can focus solely on the offensive side of the ball. Instead as a head coach with the whole team. Now Judge has a coach who has plenty of experience by his side. well said. His offenses as a coordinator where pretty prolific.

I don't have a problem with this...his experience could prove valuable to Judge.

I can't say I am thrilled about this. But I'm not surprised. Everybody likes him as a person, and I'm sure he does great in an interview. Yeah....I thought he under achieved as a HC. Maybe OC is where he belongs. We'll see. If he's our guy then I'll get behind him and hope for the best. as the cowboys OC his offenses were ranked 2,3,7,13. Yeah, I'll take anything near that.

My concern is some of the stupid play-calling at critical junctures that was done in dallas. But yeah I will get behind him as well. Will he be our backup QB too? dont forget he had Jerrah's hand up his ass like a puppet. Imagine having and owner like JJ come down out of his suite at critical times during a game and stand next you on the sidelines!! Thats not even pressure. Its an unnecessary major distraction for the the HC and the entire team. Jones did that often. With that said I like the experience he brings for the staff and DJ

All play callers make bad calls at times. It is part of the Job. His offenses can move the ball even though I think it cam be stale at times. His biggest plus is no matter who he had as an Offensive line coach. Callahan, Pollack, Houck. He had good O-lines. Our O-line should no longer look clueless on assignments and simple stunts.

Does Dan Shea have that good a jump on everyone else or was it just a lucky guess?
