49ers last week v Vikings and this week v Packers...
No name running backs rushing for 200+ yds
Dominating with a "whatever" QB
Stifling Defense
Damn.
We gotta go O-line and D-line HEAVY this offseason IMO
It will mean ignoring other areas of upgrade, but it works.

They were severely tested by both saints and Seahawks this season. Wish one of them would have made it to conference finals. Packers were one of the weakest teams in the post season. I think chiefs will win the super bowl, and the "trench warfare" mantra will give way to the versatile scoring machine theme.

Garapalo is much better than a "whatever " qb.... he threw for 4100 yards and 26 TDs..easily a top 10 to even top 7 qb right now that can and has the weapons to win a shootout if needed... But We have the D line if we bring back William's Bring back Golden... Maybe add a guy like Fowler as the other edge guy.... Build the O line, agreed Sign Conklin, take Thomas at 4(or even better at 5 with an extra 2 and 3 from Miami).. Cushinberry day 2 is a day one Starter at C... BPA the rest of the draft... Don't have to ignore other areas (another dynamic playmaker in an extremely deep WR draft, yound athletic LB,ect..)doing this . So having a unicorn RB pmaymaker,Slayton,Engram,Smith..Shepard (if healthy),new dynamic guy... Quick turnaround (because the other thing we learned today is if you have extreme team speed outside it forces teams to adapt and leave an empty box..see what Chiefs did to Titans in 2and half)

49ers Traded for Dee Ford and drafted Bosa and now they're going to the Super Bowl. Chiefs traded for Frank Clark and they're going to the Super Bowl. I'm just saying...the focus need to be put on Defense and we need Playmakers on Defense
When the Giants are able to get to the QB we usually win Super Bowls we need to get back to that

This is going to be a great Superbowl. 2 dominant offenses with young QBs. Which D will make the difference?

Interesting difference between both teams defense 49ers have the most dominant on paper front 7 on the field Chiefs have that familiar defense gets hot at the right time scheme from Spagw that is t he better of the parts..(and the return of NASCAR) Personally I just feel the 49ers D line wins the game ultimately but you just can't count out the Spags factor when he has his players

I think it will be a shootout with KC getting the edge. Either way should be an epic SuperBowl no matter who wins. Definitely looking forward to this matchup.

You can't discount the Mahommes factor.

He may be close to elite, but he doesn't even need to be on that team. I think he threw only 8 passes total in yesterday's game. Eight! And they were dominating, with unheralded RBs. That's trench warfare to the max.

That's trench warfare to the max. Uhh.. I think his presence actually helps the running game.. Classic case of a perfectly balanced team that can hurt you in an incredibly varied amount of ways in the run and pass Who else has a fullback that can run a deep seam or a wheel route like they do,that can instantaneously morph from a power 21 I to a spread 12 in a blink of an eye and a linebacker now has to follow him because he is that legit in the passing game You can't single up Deebo Samuels anymore because he will take it house, that's if he isnt running a jet sweep or ghost motioning and taking players with him. They are rarely running into 8 man boxes and even if they are in short or goal line situations there is so much going on and the threat of non conventional blocking schemes that the entire defense is slow to react because they have to think that split second at the snap and they can't react(that 3rd TD run the entire defense didnt react until Moestert was past the 2nd level and into the end zone. With all that said the 49ers are more than capable of winning a shoot out if needed,Jimmy G out gunned Brees in the Superdome so that says all you need to know that they have that firepower and why teams have to respect the pass at all times.. But having a legit O line sure does help with all this, especially one that is versittle enough to run all those unique and different blocking schemes They probably need him vs KC bigtime...if even to spread it out to open the running game a bit Personally I think he throws it for 300 in the Superbowl and their D line wins it at the end

Their offense is so quick hitting and diverse. Yes, Jimmy G can match up in a shoot out if they need. And then there's that defense. I'm rooting for KC but yikes the Niners are formidable. Please, Kansas City Chiefs, find a way !!!!!☺
