Any 10 year athlete contact is stupid, but it is what it is. At least they didn't give him 12. Lgfm! And he is one herniated disk disk away from losing his swing. As is Mookie Betts. As is Mike Trout. It is what it is. Traded for the Big fish, kept the big fish. It’s an new era in Mets baseball and it’s exciting. Hell, it ain’t my money.

Good morning baseball fans!
Today is Christmas
We are all in 1st place!
I'm glad the Mets locked up Lindor. Great player and fun to watch. Gotta pay the big contracts to keep the best around.

I guess people are just willing to take the 99% chance they will be fine regardless of what happens, in order to go to a ballgame and feel normal. It’s been a long year.

Just read the game tonight is postponed? Supposedly 5 Nationals players are under covid quarantine. Yea thought I heard the earliest they could play is Saturday. I used to go to opening day all the time when I was younger and lived on L.I. Sold beer and hot dogs at Shea when I was in high school. The Mets used to have the coolest promotion and me and my friends used to go to the 2nd game as well. It was called "No Respect Day" and Rodney Dangerfield was the host. It was great, so much fun. Rodney running around in a Met uniform with a mike yelling and clowning around. Great memory.

But nobody out and one hit scores a run is stupid.

And its not even the fact the Yankees lost. They werent hitting well anyway so its not an excuse. The rule itself is one of the worst rule changes in professional sports. Yet they still wont give us robot umps calling balls and strikes? Yesterdays game alone I saw way too many bad ball/strike calls. Its ridiculous.

Start extra innings with a man on second yet for the integrity of the game don’t have the National league adopt the DH . . . unless they play in an AL park

It was 7-0 however. If they had to wait until deGrom had a lead to take him out, he’d pitch about 134 scoreless innings. And never leave a game with a lead.
