That’s all these fools do is make excuses for this lousy old shaky high throwing, scared little girl that has our season over already. Elisha doesn’t deserve nice things like Barkley and ODB and Engram. He was never that guy to elevate a team. NEVER! FU fans that called in last year to complain about his benching! Oh stop already....Aaron Rodger's would suck behind this pathetic excuse for an OL...never mind protect the QB, they can't even run block for an explosive rb such as Barkley Ah, yes. The "Aaron Rodgers would suck behind this OL..." retort. Seems like all of those who throw that out there seem to have forgotten, or never knew, just how putrid his OL has been for the past few seasons.

Enough with the o-line already. It's more than just them. No one ever said it was only the o-line at fault You serious?

The pathetic excuses are coming from those who continue to defend this quarterback who has been bad for years now.

The offensive as a whole sucks but the suckiest part is the OL...they can't even block effectively for the running game. If that were not the case we would at least have an effective running game ....

He’s just not seeing when there’s an open man bc he’s a scared lil biatch. Blame it on the oline of yrs past, doesn’t matter, he’s toast now. He’s got happy feet and he still is sailing throws when he has time in the pocket. Oline is still a work in progress but it’s like we have a rookie at QB with the panicky way he plays. Every throw is lateral and he just doesn’t hang long enuff in th pocket to let his receivers get downfield. Where were those deep passes earlier in the game? It’s the coaches fault I’m sure ;-|

If the Eagles and Skins scores hold up, it'll be interesting to see how the Giants come out and play knowing they can take a big step (for week 2) in the division. Welp. They choked and pissed all over themselves. Pretty much tells me all I need to know about this team.

Too many flaws on this team that cannot be fixed overnight. I just wish that we had a solid line that could give Eli some time to go through his progressions and run block effectively to see what Eli could still do. I just think it's unfair to fairly asses Eli when we know that he needs these things to be successful. Unfortunately we will probably never know.

What's going to be the shiniest object in the 2019 draft? We'll draft another weapon for Eli because that will finally be the final piece he needs! Lmao

Let's put Eli out to pasture, but not ignore the horror show that is the Giants offensive line Wilson would be scrambling on most plays and he's about the most mobile out there (or was)

We had hope until these first 2 games (le sigh).
Darnold will be a great pro for many years in my opinion. Possibly a champion, but a great player never the less and would have been a solid pick to build around.
Barkley will be tremendous as well, but shutting down an RB is easier than a QB, and the longevity of each position...blah blah blah

Dude, you just don’t get it! I’m TOTALLY fine with moving on from Eli and would love to see the next franchise QB arrive and progress here. It’s really painful to watch him play behind this trash. I wish he would have retired! The point some here are making is that they have to fix this line before they throw a rookie behind it or they will end up with another David Carr. These guys can’t even pick up a stunt or blitz!!!!! Did you watch the game? Tonight”s oline performance was a joke...Dallas was laughing at us! Their head coach was smirking the entire game because he knew he could just keep blitzing and his guys had a CLEAR AND UNBLOCKED PATH TO ELI!!! This team’s problems will not go away with an inexperienced mobile QB.

Thanks to my cable cancelation due to my boycott of the anti anthem crap, I haven't watched the game so only going by what you guys are saying. From what I can tell, the D has not been the issue as this will be the 2nd game in which they just give up 20pts for the 2nd week in a row. It's pathetic that the Giants can't even put up 21, if they could, they'd be 2-0. This D will now be going into every game the rest of the yr with all the pressure on them to try & keep teams from even putting up 17, let alone 20. I'm trying to figure out how a team with the offensive weapons they have at RB/WR/TE has only put up 28pts in 2 games (14 ppg isn't gonna cut it) & more & more it seems to be pointing at the man behind center which I hate to even be saying but if there was one thing I have said prior to the season starting is that if it looks like it's Eli's play that is hurting the team from scoring, then before the season is lost, which at 0-2 is coming dangerously close to, the Giants may have to either go with any of the 2 backups & see what they can do. I dunno, give Eli once more shot vs Houston next week & if the Giants fail to crack 20 or more, & lose their 3rd in a row, the Eli era has to come to an end in week 4. Asides from that 1st qt TD pass, Dak didn't do anything to really beat us as Collins stated, he again failed to pass for 200yds & just had the 1 TD. Ewok fails to run for 80 yds & we still lose! That's unacceptable & the D did their job IMO, once again, this failure is all on the O. I'm wondering if we finish with a top 5 pick again, if a RT would be our #1 pick followed by a RG or center with #2 pick. We are good to go at the skill positions imo. I'd throw Lauletta into a few games this yr if we are already out of contention by mid-late Oct. Heck, let him finish the 2nd half even if we were to be 2-6. Next week should be Eli's last chance to show if he can rebound from these last 2 weeks imo & help this O put up more than 21+. The D is not the issue so far after 2 weeks, although they seem to not have a pass rush either. But 20ppg given up is not bad considering this is their 1st time playing in the 3-4 & have like 5 new starters on the D & OV has yet to play a game. Barkley caught something like 14 balls and was elusive best he could be with that pathetic blocking We lost our Center who had to be taken off on a cart. Jones would if been good to have right about now. Greco had to come in. Apple also went out with groin injury. Was playing great prior

need someone that can use his feet to buy time. Webb was good for that. Lauletta to a certain degree. Remember that running TD?? On a side note Mahomes of KC is only 21 years old and had 4 TD passes last week and 6 today lol

So I guess having an explosive RB and all the other weapons on offense doesn't mean shit If we have a crap OL that cannot pass protect or run block...go figure...
